Seattle is winning again. But how much should we actually read into a three-game winning streak against some of the league's weakest opposition? With Jackson on vacation, Ari goes solo to discuss whether the Sounders' turnaround might be more convincing than the schedule suggests – and if the improvement actually started well before the wins did. Then, we examine Albert Rusnák's remarkable run of form that's made him the MLS leader in primary assists, and what it says about his place in Seattle's attack. Finally, it's on to New England. What would a result in a difficult cross-country road game tell us about this team's trajectory? Plus, why the emergence of Dejan Jovelic has added an entirely new dimension to Seattle's attack – and whether he can become the game-breaking presence the Sounders have been missing.

It's a double-win week for the Seattle Sounders after a 3-1 victory over Minnesota United, following a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake. We break down what stood out from the wins, including the performances of Jordan Morris and Albert Rusnák, Paul Arriola's continued emergence and a midfield that looks increasingly settled with Cristian Roldan back in the fold. Then we look around a wide-open Western Conference and ask which teams actually represent the biggest threats to Seattle. Vancouver have established themselves as one of the teams to beat, but nearly every contender has flaws — and LAFC just added another major question by parting ways with head coach Marc Dos Santos. We also debate the Sounders' best XI based on current form. Has Arriola become a locked-in starter? Should Hassani Dotson partner Cristian in midfield? And how should Seattle handle its back line as Yeimar works his way back? Finally, we preview Sporting Kansas City and the dangerous André Luiz as Seattle looks to make it three straight wins.

The Seattle Sounders are still searching for a win, but Saturday’s wild 3-3 draw against the Colorado Rapids gave us plenty to talk about. We break down Matchday 27's wild contest at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, including Dejan Joveljić’s ridiculous goal, an unfortunate set-piece concession and Caden Clark’s dramatic equalizer on his Sounders debut. We also discuss the latest on Jordan Morris, Joveljić’s upcoming international duty with Serbia and what his absence could mean for the Sounders' attack ahead of a potentially season-defining stretch. Later on, we preview the upcoming home matchup with Real Salt Lake, who enter the match in the midst of a prolonged slide, and discuss whether the Sounders can finally turn these improved performances into three points and snap their run of five straight draws.

The Seattle Sounders picked up another point with a 1-1 draw against the LA Galaxy, simultaneously extending their unbeaten run and their winless run. We'll revisit Jackson’s optimistic take from last week, then tackle the topic once again of whether the Sounders are actually showing signs of meaningful improvement, or simply looking better after hitting rock bottom.

We’ll also break down the performances of Jordan Morris, Paul Arriola, Cristian Roldan, Snyder Brunell and Albert Rusnák, discuss the latest injury scare involving Dejan Joveljić, and look ahead to a crucial matchup with the Colorado Rapids.

Plus, after Jackson signs off, Ari goes around MLS with five teams that nailed the summer transfer window.

The Seattle Sounders are running out of time. After another frustrating result with Saturday's 0-0 draw against the New York Red Bulls at Lumen Field, we break down where things stand as Seattle’s MLS winless streak continues. The result was nowhere near good enough, but was the performance actually a step forward? We dig into the Sounders’ chance creation, Ethan Horvath’s monster night in goal, the discourse around Seattle’s xG and whether there are finally some signs that the attack is moving in the right direction.

We also break down the returns of Jordan Morris, Cristian Roldan and Paul Arriola, give some flowers to Sebastián Gómez, and ask a bigger question as the season reaches crunch time: Who’s passing the audition? With Seattle increasingly needing to think about which pieces are part of the solution going forward, we'll look at the players raising their stock before finishing with a preview of Saturday’s trip to face the LA Galaxy. #KO

The Seattle Sounders' winless run continued in Matchday 23 with a 2-2 draw vs. Chicago Fire FC at Lumen Field, but the Rave Green did get a memorable club debut from new No. 9 Dejan Jovelic. Does the super Serbian raise Seattle's ceiling in the race for trophies in 2026, or will it take more for the squad to emerge from its summer doldrums? That's one of the topics we'll discuss, along with the continued emergence of Sebastian Gomez, a look at the center back situation and the potential impact of the injury returns of Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris.

Later on, we'll jump around the league to discuss a standout performance from Philadelphia Union rising star Cavan Sullivan, a four-goal outburst from Lionel Messi, and a tense interaction between Chucky Lozano and Mikey Varas' in the LA Galaxy's match against San Diego FC.

Lobbing Scorchers, Ari Liljenwall and Noah Riffe react to Adrian Hanauer's open letter to Sounders supporters, breaking down what the majority owner actually said, what he chose to leave out, and whether the messaging matches the moment for a fan base that has watched the season slip away. Lobbing Scorchers digs into whether the Sounders will actually add another reinforcement before the window closes. New signing Dejan Joveljić could give the attack the presence it has been missing, but with midfield questions still unresolved and injury risk piling up across the roster, is one striker really enough to salvage the playoff push? Ari and Noah round out the show with the results of a Lobbing Scorchers supporter poll, getting into who actually filled it out, why supporters still stand behind Brian Schmetzer despite the results, the growing criticism of Sounders spending, and the worsening sentiment across the fan base.
