OL Reign's roster build continues as last month, the club announced England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley has joined the club from Manchester City on a loan through June. The loan spell will see her more than likely get some appearances in the NWSL Challenge Cup. The long road to recovery from a hamstring injury sustained at the 2019 FIFA World Cup was only exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why Bardsley sees this time at OL Reign as her way to return to full form and do the thing she loves: be a goalkeeper.
