Cogitations

We have a good listener question for today's episode. How do we deal with folk who make the argument that only meeting once per week on Sunday is commanded in the Bible so all other assemblies are optional. These folk typically do not attend any other service of the Lord's church except for Sunday. The Bible has an answer and that is what we will look at for this question. I pray someting edifying and informative is said.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk

So many today want to have an experience with God outside of His Word. Today we will look at how dangerous this is and notice that it is contrary to what God has already revealed.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk

For the first hour or so Aaron and Tony talk about politics and such. Beginning at about the second hour they discuss three approaches to the church operating in the world. The discussion is about one that is too lackadaisical, one that it too restrictive, and one that is in the goldilocks zone following the example of Jesus. We pray someting edifying and informative is said.    for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk#biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk #homechurch #worshipservice

Today's episode is from a listener question that is fairly layered. The core of the question is about protocol for worshiping God in spirit and truth in one's home. I pray something said will be edifying and informative.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk #homechurch #worshipservice

Words matter. With that in mind we will look at a passage of Scripture that I hear reference often yet it is grossly misapplied. We are not ambassadors as Paul used the term in 2 Corinthians 5:20. Today we'll take a look at what it means to be an ambassador for Christ and see if we can even fulfill that role.     for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk

One of our listeners requested a podcast episode on 1 Corinthians 14. That is just what we'll do in this episode. When is it time to move on from a congregation? In this week's episode of Christianity Now Aaron and Tony discuss a listener question that touches just this topic. Jesus said someting that, if we don’t watch it, we often overlook. Or, at least, I overlook. Unless our righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees we will in no case enter the kingdom of heaven. Today we'll look at that phrase and talk about what Jesus is teaching here.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk
