Cogitations

Have you ever wondered why the end of a journey can feel more rewarding than the beginning? In this episode, we explore the idea that the conclusion of a life of faith holds far more significance than the start. Baptism is just the beginning; what is difficult is how we live our lives afterward, facing trials, growing in faith, and persevering until the end. Join us as we delve into why an "old soldier of the cross" who dies in faith is an testament to a life well-lived.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #faithjourney #fatihwalk

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus teaches a needed lesson about humility and service through the parable of the unprofitable servant. This parable challenges believers to reflect on their relationship with God and their understanding of their own worth in His sight. From Luke 17:7-10, we'll try to gain some insights into the nature of our service to God and the importance of humility in our spiritual lives. I pray someting said will be edifying and informative.   for Bible questions and show topic suggestions send and email to: [email protected]   Be sure to follow us on "X" formerly known as Twitter: https://twitter.com/1Chronicles1232   If you want to support the show monthly, www.patreon.com/christianitynow   You can do a one time donation through PayPal: [email protected]   #christianitynow #christianitytoday #varietyshow #bibletime #biblestudy #gospel #biblequestions #bibleanswers #venting #gossip #bibletalk #biblepodcast #christiancontent #christianliving #biblicalworldview #servantsheart #servantheart

Aaron and Tony are talking about the state of Christianity today and the horrendous gaslighting coming from the world and, of all places, CHRISTIANS! It seems that many saw the Olympic opening ceremonies and were awakened to the certainty of spiritual warfare. Today I'll share some of my thoughts about this. From a study of Acts we see the begining of Paul's ministry. There is someting we can learn from his response to being unjustly treated. It is this subject that will be under discussion today. I pray something edifying and informative will be said.

It does not take long talking to folk who claim christendom to conclude that a glaring issue is a misunderstanding of the Old Testament and how to apply it today is pervasive. In this episode we'll discuss and showcase some things that I have heard folk have misconceptions about when it comes to our freedom in Christ. We are not under the Old Law nor are we bound to its commandments. I pray someting is said that edifies and informs.

Today's show will be a sort of variety show. Aaron and Tony will briefly open up the forum with a discussion of the modern idea of love and then we will go to the comments answering questions and taking discussion points from the comments section. We pray something said will be edifying and informative.

Christianity today seems to be more cruise control that actual activism. It seems that we like to gather and talk a big talk and even pray for God to do work. Well, there is still so much more to do. It makes me wonder how seriously the world can take the religion of Christianity when its adherents seem not to do so.

I have seen so many posts on facebook about how God intervened in the assassination attempt of Donald Trump. We need to only speak where the Bible speaks and the Bible speaks on this issue, believe it or not. Tune in and hear the Word of God on this issue. We really need to be careful here.
