Cogitations

This episode is from a question that was asked in the We Talk Truth group. It has to do with scruples, esteeming other above self, and the tyranny of the scrupulous. I hope I handled it well and I hope you who listen are edified.

This episode is from a listener who asked a question in my livestream. The question was asked about the rightness of the death penalty. I hope I have handled the question with care and answered it carefully and rightly from Scripture. Let me know what you think.

This episode is just an extra episode in which I talk about an illustration I used in a previous episode about man made creeds. In this episode I explain how I came up with that illustration. I hope you are edified.

I was so excited to record this episode. It is directly from a new member of the We Talk Truth group. The question was posed in two parts. What is the distinction that makes the church of Christ not a denomination and doesn't the church of Christ have a creed such as speak white the Bible speaks? I love questions like this for one, I know it comes from an honest and seeking heart and two, it allows me to talk about one of my favorite topics, the Lord's church! I hope you are edified and informed.

Alright, folks, this one puts me out there. I had to be pretty vulnerable to record this episode. Is it a sin to pray to Jesus? I try to answer that in this episode of Cogitations.

This episode is just some of my cogitations about the restoration plea. It may be that we have gotten lazy in our study of God's Word. I hope you are edified.
