Well, this is the last in this series about the false doctrine of Calvinism. This last letter in the acrostic, TUILP, is what folk say it is, once saved always saved. Take a listen and see if this doctrine holds up to biblical scrutiny.

The next doctrine the Calvinist is pushed into is that the atoning power of the cross is only available to those who are unconditionally elect and none else. This episode is somewhat "ranty" as this is an emotional topic for me. It is sad to see so many people deceived by this doctrine and, worse yet, it is creeping into the church. 

According to Reformed Theology, some are elect and some are not and there is nothing an individual can do to go from nonelect to elect. This episode looks at some Scripture in the book of Romans that refute this doctrine.

This is an introduction to a series that will air its first episode next week. We will be looking at the acrostic, TULIP, from the vantage point of Reformed Theology. I have studied, debated, and discussed this topic with many a reformed theologist. It all comes down to one of two actuations, you don't understand the doctrine and/or you are not nice. The only thing I can say about one of those is, Jesus was not always nice when He was dealing with false doctrine. To the other I say, we are doing an entire series dedicated to steel manning then refuting each of the points of the acrostic.

Some wonder, how does one identify the. church that Jesus built. In this episode we look at 7 attributes of the church of Christ and see if we are indeed able to identify the bride on earth. 

Many have a misunderstanding of God's will and how He will act in salvation in relation to His Word. God will not do anything contrary to His Word. Some have an idea that certain men will be saved and others not and this is decided by God's sovereign will. They believe that a man who hears the gospel cannot obey the gospel unless God chooses to give him a new heart. These folk are hung on the horns of a dilemma pitting God's will again His Word. 

This is just a follow up about the show last Friday. I think the reason some teach imputed righteousness is from a misunderstanding of exactly what imputed righteousness is. Take a listen and let me know what you think.
