This week, we share stories from spring trainings that we've attended in the past, while also sharing our excitement for baseball being back!

This week, we were joined by noted Mets super-fan Frank Fleming, whose internet popularity skyrocketed thanks to a viral news clip from 2017 of him berating New Jersey Transit for making him late to Opening Day. We discussed the current state of the Mets roster, why Dellin Betances might be a sneakily important part of the Mets in 2021, and the "Shea Goodbye" ceremony at the end of 2008 that left us all hanging our heads after another gut-wrenching Mets collapse.

This week, we discussed the Mets' recent signing of Taijuan Walker before diving into the Fangraphs postseason projections for all 30 MLB teams. We poured one out for the "0.0% chance" Baltimore Orioles, wondered about how the Astros and A's would fare in the AL West, and remained somewhat cynical about the Mets' chances of overtaking the Braves and winning the division. We also grumbled about the Jarred Kelenic trade again, but only for a minute, as we're still pumped up for the start of Mets spring training with the new players they've acquired.

Jake and Elizabeth touch on some current events news in Metsland with the recent signings of Albert Almora Jr. and Jonathan Villar, and then get into some fun "grab bag" questions where they talk about everything from their favorite non-Mets players in MLB to their favorite memories from Citi Field and Shea Stadium. We get nostalgic, y'all.

In our second episode, we welcomed Mets beat writer Justin Toscano to the show, where we talked about the Jared Porter/Mickey Callaway situations, how the Mets have done in the offseason so far, and how many times we think Tim Healey will go to Chipotle in 2021.
