On July 6, 2012, three teenagers went for a joyride, but only two of them returned. Skylar Neese seemingly vanished, but her two best friends knew exactly where she was. After a long investigation, the two teens were arrested and found guilty and Skylar was finally laid to rest.

Between July 1979 to May 1981, at least 28 African American children, adolescents and adults were murdered in Atlanta Georgia. These murders are often referred to as The Atlanta Child Murders. In June of 1981, a 23-year-old man was arrested and convicted for two of the adult murders. The rest of the cases were closed following his conviction. But many people speculate if he was actually the man behind all of these crimes.

In July of 2007, a 14-year-old girl vanished after a 4th of July party. Ashley Summers was walking to her aunts house, and never arrived. In the months following her disappearance, a mysterious phone call, and a possible sighting helped her family hold onto hope that they’d bring her home. To this day, Ashley Summers is still missing.

Between 2002 and 2004, Ariel Castro abducted three women. These women, two of them who were teenagers at the time of their abductions, would be held in his home for nearly a decade. The first woman was actually held for 11 years, the second for 10 years and the third for 9 years.

Somehow, thankfully they survived and were able to escape this monster and his house of horrors.

In the summer of 2007, an 18-year-old woman vanished from the local Target shopping center. Her car was found later that night, and when investigators reviewed the security camera footage the next day they saw their suspect. It didn’t take long for police to apprehend 26-year-old Edwin Roy Hall and charge him with Kelsey’s murder.
