A little girl disappears from her hometown of Queensville, Ontario on Oct.3, 1984. Her remains are found a little less than 3 months later. It’s been 27 years since 14 year old Marcia LeBlanc went missing and her 17-year-old boyfriend Marcel Cormier was found dead in his fathers truck. The man police suspected of the murder and abduction goes missing the day after he was questioned. It took nearly a year before Marcia’s remains were discovered by a hunter and even then, her parents were not convinced Marcia was dead. In this episode, I go into the details of this case and the theories behind the murders of Marcia and Marcel as well as the disappearance of the suspect.

In 2007, a small, safe town in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba is rattled when it’s reported a woman has been brutally murdered in her home after celebrating Halloween. Who could have done such a terrible thing to a loving mother and grandmother? The family still doesn’t have answers.

Over the past few decades, thousands of indigenous women went missing or were murdered in Canada. Mary Rose Keadjuk was one of them. She disappeared from the capital of the Northwest Territories in 1990 but the case wasn’t deemed a homicide until 13 years after she went missing.
