During Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey chatted with former Independent councillor, PJ Ryan about the people in both Cratloe and Sixmilebridge who were without electricity due to the extremely cold weather.

Quite a few of the affected people are elderly, as PJ mentioned, and the circumstances left them feeling particularly vulnerable.

It is timely, therefore, to highlight some advice for the most vulnerable people in Clare, in light of the current cold snap.
