I had such a blast meeting with Faust that I'll let him tell you who he is: "My professional career spans over forty years. I have counseled clients ranging in age from five, and into senior living. I have counseled people and families in inpatient facilities, prisons, substance abuse counseling centers, in nursing homes, provided employee assistance programs to major corporations, and have extensive experience providing emotional support services to deaf children. I was part of a team that developed the counseling program for drunk drivers that became the prototype for the state of Pennsylvania, and is still being used in many other states. I have taught at the college level, and am published in several research journals."

My conversation with Connor was quite diversified. Sure, we did discuss his hectic life of substance abuse, but we also discussed all kind of subjects that made my evening recording super interesting. He's a successful entrepreneur now and his life is great which makes him quite inspiring.
"The goal isn’t to be clean from drugs. The goal is to love yourself so much that you don’t need drugs. This is your daily reminder that your best days are ahead of you."

Tom is part 2 of the 3 part series that follows up on Laura's story (episode 126).
It is a great talk that I had on Tom's rocky story of addiction, sadness and despair. He's now 8 years sober and an incredible human being.
He has written a book with his mother called "Unraveled, A Mother and Son Story of Addiction and Redemption" which can be found here: http://amzn.com/1632993198

Laura has asked if it would be interesting to do a 3 parts podcast serie based on the story of Laura's life, then Tom's (her son), followed by the 3 of us together discussing what we discussed and life after all of their fascinating story.
I definitely accepted and am eager to hear all their stories. This is part 1 of this serie, with Laura.
This dynamic is so undocumented and interesting that they wrote a book about it called "Unraveled, A Mother and Son Story of Addiction and Redemption" which can be found here: http://amzn.com/1632993198

Andrew uses both his ancestors and family tree has a recovery and sobriety tool. For Andrew Ecker the confusion of the illusion of self-identity led to a life of alcohol, cocaine, opiate addiction, imprisonment and ultimately suicidal attempts on his life.
Based on ancient indigenous technology 'The Sacred 7' by Andrew Wayne Thomas Ecker guides people in a ceremonial process of intentionally designing your life; how you relate to yourself, your family, the community, and the universe.
This foundational spiritual teaching is about awakening the greatest parts of you and practicing your spirituality in a truly authentic way.

It was Cold Turkey podcast's first time of discussing sex addiction and I surely hope it is not the last. Not only was I able to discuss this without even an ounce of taboo, this was also quite eye opening in so many ways.

Meeting with Michael was great. We philosophically talked about addiction and our state of mind while doing it and post.
Here's Michael in his own words: "Michael Gregory has a background as a Philosopher and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, as well as a life long interest in Spirituality and Personal Development. He is also Australia’s #1 Stop Smoking Coach and founder of True Quit, which has helped 1000’s smokers quit cigarettes through the True Quit Method. Michael also hosts the Addiction To Freedom podcast, which explores spiritual and personal awareness, as a path to freedom from our everyday addictions."
