Born with no legs and one arm, Colin Judge admitted that by the age of 12 he struggled with his disability and it was sport that helped him find his confidence again.
Judge, the first ever Irish person to be born with just one arm, has qualified once again for the Paralympics and will be a key member of the table tennis team that will make the trip to France.
Here, Judge joins host Will O'Callaghan in studio to talk through his life, his sport and his goals for the 2024 games.
Nestlé Cereals Ireland is the official ‘Breakfast Partner’ of the 2024 Irish Paralympic Team. The aim of the partnership is to encourage the nation to “Bring the Cheer” and support the team at the upcoming games in Paris (August 28th to September 8th).
To celebrate this partnership, the new promotional packs feature Nestlé Cereals Ireland Ambassadors para-table tennis champion Colin Judge and para-cyclist Richael Timothy, offering fans the opportunity to win* a chance to “Bring the Cheer” and support the athletes at the Games in Paris. In a first for the brand, boxes will also carry a message of support to the team ‘as Gaeilge’. Packs are available in-store nationwide and the competition draw closes on July 31st.
