In this sixth episode Stephen Pearse interviews his co-host Bill Hamel on the ninth investment property of Bill's career. This investment was Bill’s first commercial property and another win at auction. When he arrived at the auction, he was not planning on purchasing the property. Bill discusses how filling a commercial lease can be more difficult than a residential lease and then he explains how he was able to flip the property for a big gain in about 15 months. 

This episode gives a great example on a residential investor making their first investment in the commercial space and being successful.

In this fifth episode I interview my co-host Bill Hamel on the eighth investment property of his career. This property is a duplex, located next-door to his seventh property, in the Pine Hills neighborhood of Albany. Bill does a great walking through his first auction purchase from start to finish. He then discusses how he was able to finance the property using credit card cash advances and eventually utilizing the BRRR method before the BRRR method was a known term.

This single-family construction rehab property is back in the Pine Hills neighborhood of Albany and Bill has his first experience renting to students that wanted to party. He discusses the difficulty of being 25 years old and having to manage tenants that treat his investment property like a fraternity house. He then becomes uncle Bill when the next tenants become a little too friendly.
