We all quickly agree that we are TIRED! In the moment tired and Moming tired. Meghan asks us all if we had a plan to continue working after having children or not. It was a great discussion that took Kristine to talking about working with two children and juggling the after school care for her oldest and then different care for her youngest.

Is being a Career Woman part of your identity? We answer this question and go in to further detail about feeling the need to contribute to our families in all sorts of ways. 

Did your Moms work when you were young? Meghan was curious to know if there was any correlation to our decisions later in life, whether we knew it stemmed from that or not. Krisitne opens up about how she felt that her Mom’s battle with cancer was the result of wearing too many hats for too long without a balanced partnership.

Meghan opens up about the guilt she felt from sending her oldest to daycare to keep a space while on mat leave with her youngest. 

Tasha dives into the space of not having an identity before kids, and feeling as though parenthood was to help her find herself and her calling. It was a rude awakening when reality hit and depression came back.

Is the grass greener? Do we ever stop the cycle of wishing we were in the next stage of parenting and then immediately asking for time to stop so we can go back and enjoy the last one? 

Memes these days can sure hit some nerves for us. Those sensitive spots where we feel attacked and take it personally because we are all feeling guilty about not being a good enough Mother, Wife, Housekeeper, Cook and Baker. 

Is there such a thing as balance? We all weigh in.

In this episode we learn about each other’s Love Languages, and discover that Love can be tricky if we don’t share or understand each other's love languages.  Kristine gains insight on why her love language is physical touch.  Tasha talks about being able to heal her relationship with her mother, when she started to understand her love language. Meghan brings up that she had just read an article in which John Gottman shares the myth that a sexless marriage is a bad marriage.

We then dive into the question: Is Love the answer?  This topic takes on many directions, as we try to find a way to see with love, through compassion and empathy even in the darkest moments.
