  • Don‘t Take Anything Personally
This episode we talk about the 2nd Agreement from the Book: The Four Agreements.
The 2nd agreement is: Don't take anything personally.
    Easier said than done right?
    The Main topics include:
    Our need for Acceptance
    Fears and rejections
    Hypo/Hyper arrousal
    THC and Edibles
    Taking away Labels
    Being Neutral
Our brains have been wired to take our past traumas and work it into every scenario in our lives, which makes it very hard to not take things personally so in this episode we break down how we can work towards not taking things personally...
Meghan talks about her recent session with her therapist and how we make decisions based on the state of our emotions; whether we are in hyper/hypo arrousal or neutral.
Tasha Talks about the realization that THC has allowed her to be in the state of neutrality, freedom, calmness, and a state where she feels she doesn't take things personally.
Kristine shares with us that fear has played a very big part in her life when it comes to making decisions, and she has to assess where her emotions are before making these decisions.
Throughout our conversation, we realize that if we practice the first agreement: Being  Impeccable with your word, by using the power of our word to be truthful and to speak with love, then this allows us to not take things personally...
There is soo much wisdom in this book, all wrapped up in 4 simple Agreements.
If you haven't read it yet, we highly recommend it.

  • IMPECCABLE
THE FIRST OF “THE FOUR AGREEMENTS”BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD

    Main Topics:
Defining Impeccable, what does that really mean?
    Gossip
Parenting and language we use with our kids
    Personal stories and beliefs
    Sharing Negativity
    Creating Freedom
Key takeaways and how we will put this agreement to action

In the first of a series, you will hear Meghan, Tasha and Kristine discuss the first agreement in Don Miguel Ruiz’s simple, yet life changing book, “The Four Agreements.” As the author states, if you follow this one agreement alone, “you will be able to transcend to the level of existence [he] calls heaven on earth.”
Making a choice to be impeccable with your word, will change your surroundings, will change your reality and will change your life.

You will hear Tasha talk about the words her mother used towards her that held her back from embracing her fullest self. You will hear Meghan share the words she spoke to her children, that she then recognized were the very words she heard growing up that created an agreement within her she no longer wanted to identify with. Kristine shares a discovery of how the words used to describe her as a child were used as a way of controlling a side of her that made her hard to handle.

Words are powerful, and this episode is just the beginning. Make sure to grab a copy of “The Four Agreements” and follow along with us.

  • REGRETS (Part 2)
TO LIVE AND LEARN OR SUPPRESS AND DENY OUR PAST
    Main Topics:
Sending kids to school with a cold
    Forgetting all the things
    Regret
    Boundaries and Friendships
    Unmet needs
    Living independently
    Wearing various hats
Being there for a loved one
    Funerals and grief
As we roll into this episode, Meghan begins talking about how she has been finding it hard to get back into the groove of all things school. Tasha shares that she had a scheduled day off and was supposed to have a day alone. As most parents will relate, there always seems to be a child that ends up sick and that day swiftly goes. We discuss what the threshold is when it comes to runny noses and when it is ok to send your child to school. How sick is too sick?
The conversation moves to our main topic: regret. When this was brought up as a topic, Meghan quickly said that she didn't have any which begged the question: do you suppress the regret or acknowledge and learn from it? Tash dives deep into her regret, a friendship lost and boundaries crossed. Meghan shares how choices she made as a teenager are surfacing and feeling amplified by unmet needs. Kristine explains how a loved one needed her and she wasn’t there. Was it due to people pleasing and lacking confidence to just say no? Or perhaps the intuition wasn’t trusted. Funerals, what does it mean to us, and to those that are being honoured if we miss them? Do you go to a celebration of life for anyone and everyone that has made an impact, or are you selective? How about that last drink of the night, which ultimately leads to the remainder of your night spent on the bathroom floor. Or perhaps a regret of eating really spicy food on vacation?

We also discuss roles we play, hats we wear and it all tells only the partial story of who we are. Food inspo, are you feeling the good vibe to create a healthy meal for your family night after night?
