Today, we discover the real reason why the religious leaders sent representatives to interview John the Baptist. We also discover why John remained humble even though the entire nation had been touched by this last great prophet of God.

John mentions three very powerful proofs that Jesus is the Christ in our text today. We examine these proofs and come to a logical conclusion about the mark of fellowship established by Moses and repeated by John.

The incarnation is one of the great mysteries of God. Today, we examine John chapter 1 and verses 4 & 5. Implied in these verses along with the preceding verses is the incarnation of Jesus Christ. God in (flesh) from the latin word 'carne'.  What can we glean from these simple but complex words penned by the Apostle John? That is what we will discuss today.

Today, we examine the first three verses of John's gospel. After examining the Greek concept of the word 'Logos' and the Hebrew idea behind John's use of 'Logos' we come to an understanding just why John's gospel is so different than Matthew, Mark and Luke.
 

Today, we close a series of messages on encouragement by looking at a man known as the son of encouragement, Barnabas. So, what can we discover about a man who embodied encouragement? That is what we will discover in todays message.

Are we an open channel for God's grace to others? That is the question that we explore in today's message. The Dead Sea is an example of how one can receive life giving provision God and never share it with anyone. God intends that we as HIS people would not only reach out for his grace and mercy but then be willing to give it away to others. 

If anyone in this world should be encouraged, it should be those who follow the Christ and have been redeemed by HIM. In this message we discover four powerful reasons why Christ followers should be encouraged.

Jesus taught such truth with so few words. Case in point, Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,for they will be filled." From this small verse one can pull from the text some simple but very rich truths. Jesus teaches that our lack of hunger and thirst for righteousness is symptomatic of a disease that has plagued humans from the beginning of the fall of man.    

David prays because he says, "...he found courage to offer God this prayer." What does he mean by that statement? Today, we examine the great function of the promises of God in our life. We also speak of how God uses promises to help invite us into participating in the process that will lead to the desired promise.
