Jesus warned his disciples that he would be killed and on the third day would be raised back to life. In fact, today we discover that the phrase '...on the third day." is also found in the Old Testament with a connection with God's great plan for redeeming man. As we look at the Lord's resurrection, we follow God through the Old Covenant to the New Covenant and into the great next event that Jesus promised.

John's gospel acknowledges the tension between Jesus and the religious leaders, and today we examine the trials of Jesus and compare them to today's standards of the rule of law.

As we close the 4th chapter of John, we see what John describes the 2nd miraculous sign performed by Jesus. Today, we review the account of Jesus healing the son of a certain official and how Jesus challenged him to believe in HIS word.

In this the closing session on John's account of the Samaritan woman we discover three elements that are noteworthy. As we cover these three elements we come to understand the greater point...the proclamation of Jesus to a woman who suddenly found herself no longer hiding from God to the degree that she even embraced those who hated her.

Today, we look at an interaction between a Samaritan woman and Jesus. Jesus addresses two main issues in the woman's life and does so in such a way that the woman realizes that she is speaking to no ordinary man. In their brief interaction, Jesus explains the reason for worship and the kind of worship the Father seeks. 

Today, we see the process of sanctification demonstrated in the life of a great man of faith, namely John the Baptist. Have you ever wondered why it seems that having your faith tested seems an important part of the Christian walk? Today, we discover that this is a life long process that God uses to empty us of ourselves, so, that HE can fill us with more of HIs Son. We are only as full of God as we are empty of ourselves.  

Today, we notice in the conclusion of the narrative of Jesus speaking to Nicodemus the source of our salvation. Jesus speaks of three things things that give ample evidence that HE is the Son of the Living God. He also indicates why men must be born again, but why they refuse to do so.
