It was very clear the Arsenal team had not gotten over their slump from the previous game loss, because it carried over to this match against Nottingham Forest. While we know the situation to our title chance was already concluded, it was not a reason to display such flat performance. Another disappointing outing by the players - heavily affected by the lack in depth at certain positions to resemble our attacking power. With such strong line-up albeit not all in natural positions, there was no energy to fight in this game. Certainly there is so much we will learn from these losses but the players should change the mood for these last games regardless of short-coming. On this pod I was very conscious not to pile on the bad mood and bitter feeling of loss. One more game to go. We deserve a win that is appreciative to the collective drive and success this season. A shocking and devastating loss that was more than just, at the Emirates. Brighton got an easy opening to take control and ultimately the fortunes of this game. No one would have expected this capitulation after seeing the first half performance. It only takes one event to change the script. Well there was more than one to consider. I wonder if there has been emphasis with raising our level of execution and decision-making in final shots scenarios in training? It would have been a different conversation some of that happened. In this game Arsenal were outplayed in the entire second half and managed better, than our quality players. We have won with more mistakes in other games than this albeit luck and players. Arsenal visited Newcastle at St James park and got a very significant win. One of the toughest and worrisome grounds for the team. A bit of luck followed the gunners into this game; we managed to endure the physical and mental battle. Not your usual offensive gameplay for Arsenal. But with more experience, precision and grit, there were so many favorable chances for the gunners to score more than shown today. A handful of standout performers helped convert the entire teams' energy and mindfulness in defending. A thoroughly deserved 3 points and confidence to push for the remaining games. This was a game that needed a good response and Arsenal did it convincingly for most of the this game. Arteta went with a few changes to the starting lineup and that certainly reaffirmed Arsenal's dominance and superiority in tactics. Several players came into this game to redeem themselves from the previous match. The energy and determination translated on the field well enough. I talked about it in this pod and highlighted key players and some concerns. And there was the other guy today. A humbling loss to City at the Eithad Stadium. In what should have been a good statement in performance, the original Arsenal team we saw all season long were subdued by Manchester City's dominance in tactics and collective brilliance. Most Arsenal fans came into this game with a strong reason to hope for a good chance of a preferrable result and importantly competitive performance. But they were completely taken out of our element. It seemed like the team suffered an early red card from several defensive exploitation City enjoyed against the Gunners. So much disappointment from the team. I wonder if any would agree on top performers and the other player today. Now this is done, we all have to stay positive and quickly rebound from the next game. It appears the traces of bone-headed mistakes and low standards had not come of a number of the players which affected the rest. One of the most embarrassing behaviors that very nearly cost Arsenal all 3 points. It was serious guts and fight for the players to bounce back. But not enough to grab the win. It was really difficult to enjoy the team fight while going through the stretch of disappointment most of the game. Nevertheless the positives are evident why the team have been successful. Now we have no buffer to maintain our lead. We all know the next game amounts to so much conclusion. Another painful draw reminiscent of our game at Anfield. Strong start and early goals but we let the Hammers back into the game. Arsenal were not short on chances to put the game away but we just kept giving blunt responses after our early goals. We needed experience and cool heads to turn things but it was a fight to retain a point more than regain confidence. There were stand out players but not enough to get us back into a lead. As more of the games roll on we cannot allow any silliness or build up of mistakes define our entire season. We must all look on to the beliefs and positives that we create for the team to carry on. One of the toughest games of the season - Arsenal visited Liverpool at Anfield. So many used this game as the qualifier to winning the league title. I considered this another big test for Arsenal. The 2-2 draw was a result I would live with; a lot to be proud of, yet disappointed. We got a chance to experience an interesting match up. Something that was not a consideration  Arsenal winning for quite some time. On this pod, I talked about a number of individual heroic performance and other factors that made this match a very intense and unpredictable game. International break over; the run-in begins. Arsenal host Leeds at the Emirates with a thumping 4-1 victory. It did start off as the "expected" handling of the game. But the league leaders had the quality to manage to put things in better situation. A number of Arsenal individual qualities influenced the momentum to create a comfortable stretch of play - eventually. While we endure the disappointment of no clean sheet. Ramsdale takes a ton of credit doing all he could in his part to make it so. The call is to elevate defensive awareness as we march on to much bigger games. Arsenal bounced back with a commanding 4-1 victory after our Europa league exit. The match was worrisome but we had luck on our side starting with the first shot from Crystal Palace. Our attack continued it's fine from to get the game on their side. While there wasn't a challenging pressure in the middle of the park, Arsenal had to deal with Crystal Palace's counter. Ramsdale deserves a lot of credit to keep out the goals. Unfortunately, not enough for the clean sheet. I talked about my top 3 players and some others for this game.
