• Writers of Kern "Writers Row" fundraiser

You’re invited to join me this Saturday, May 9th, for a special community event at the Writers of Kern “Writers Row” fundraiser at Russo's Books.

This free, family-friendly event helps raise scholarship money for local high school students and will feature local authors, vendors, and live music throughout the day.

I’ll be there with copies of Notorious Bakersfield: The Book Volumes I and II available for purchase, and I’d be happy to autograph them for you. I’ll also have Notorious Bakersfield t-shirts for sale and free stickers while supplies last.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Russo’s Books, 1601 New Stine Road, located in the office complex just north of Olive Garden restaurant on New.

I’d love to see you there — come out, say hello, and support a great cause.
