Welcome to Comedy & Camping w/Aubree Sweeney!
In this episode, Aubree talks about finally running her "Fall Y'All Virtual Race" and the toe injury that put her way behind schedule! She also gets into some of her favorite things about Papillion, Nebraska... The Book Nook, Spark Silver Company and Walnut Creek Recreation Center.
Being home for the pandemic, has Aubree home for the Holidays, from light shows to a pretty serious beef with the neighborhood squirrels, to the ever changing weather, Aubree gets into all things, "Mom and Dad's Neighborhood".
She shares one of her favorite scary stories, "The Big Toe", totally on topic. From there, she shares two bits that she's working out for her upcoming album, "It's Raining Shit."

Welcome to Comedy & Camping w/Aubree Sweeney!
In this episode, Aubree opens with a bit she’s been working on for her upcoming album, “It’s Raining Shit” coming out this Spring.
After sharing her Cyndi Lauper obsession, Aubree jumps into her favorite trip to San Diego. Between multiple shows at Comedy Heights and Mad House, by the way, there was a proposal at one of those shows. He said, “yes.” Aubree had time to do some serious site-seeing.
She spent quite a bit of time enjoying Balboa Park, home of the Old Globe. She absolutely loved their production of “Ebenezer Scrooges Big San Diego Adventure”. If you don’t want to wait to catch an Old Globe Production, on Christmas Eve, you can listen to “The Grinch” on the radio at www.kpbs.org.
Aubree shares her love of Talvera Pottery, the amazing dog-friendly restaurants at Old Town and their menus specifically made for dogs. It gets scary when she talks about the haunting of Yankee Jim and El Campo Santo. But, she brings us back to less scary thoughts talking about the perfect camping location, Chula Vista RV Resort.
She also gets into “The Green Ribbon”, her favorite childhood story and starting an adult, “Book-It” with personal panned pizzas. Did you think you’d get out of here without a song? Aubree serenades us with Love Song by The Cure.

Welcome to Comedy & Camping with Aubree Sweeney!
Aubree did a thing. She did her first ever livestream concert on YouTube and has to share it with all of you! Between songs, Aubree talks about how nervous she’s been about the technical aspects of live streaming. What if her screen freezes and she’s stuck like that forever!?!
Aubree talks about easing into the technology with online coaching and moving all of her Comedy Workshops to Zoom. Her next workshop is coming up in February. She also shares her love for holiday movies, for all the holidays, and that she’s looking forward to watching Dolly Parton’s new Netflix Film.
She reminisces on her love of music class and the multitude of ways, music and language connected us. This is one of the reasons she loves the song, “Feliz Navidad” so much! She also shares her top “get pumped” for an audition song and introduces the Luv That Dog Bakery & Gift Shop to us. She’ll be sharing more about that project and its origins in future episodes.
Things get intense when Aubree shares her story about plummeting down the tallest mountain in Colorado in an off-brand U-Haul and leaves us with her cover of “Frosty the Snowman”.

Let’s talk about Lafayette! Welcome to Comedy & Camping with Aubree Sweeney! In this episode Aubree talks about her time in Louisiana. She had the pleasure of working with Jason P. Leonard, the creator of Lafayette Comedy. Jason has helped grow this amazing standup scene brimming with talented comedians and multiple locations throughout the city of Lafayette.
Aubree headlined Wurst Beirgarten, an amazing outdoor and dog friendly space. Could that be any more perfect? Having never been to Louisiana, Aubree kicks her trip off with a Cajun Country Swap Tour. She saw eleven alligators! Lafayette’s Lake Martin has the largest population of alligators over ten feet long.
She also spends time at Breaux Bridge, the Crawfish Capital of the World, an above ground cemetery, the Tabasco Factory and eats just about everywhere she can!
Did you think you’d get through an episode without Aubree playing a song? Aubree takes a beat to play Seminole Wind by John Anderson.
Being in Louisiana sends her into a CW tailspin. She loves the Vampire Diaries World… so much. Particularly, The Originals. She shares camping and local food spot tips before she heads on out to Moscow, Iowa to have her levelers installed.
Spending time at her parents for the winter, Aubree discovered her “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” collection. She shares one of her favorites, “The Guests” and reminisces about the time she played a “Hollywood It Girl” who goes on a killing spree in a film directed by her friend, Lucas Diercouff. Sequel please!
Aubree wraps things up by sharing a bit about her cat, She-ra, she’s working out for her upcoming album, “It’s Raining Shit” coming out this spring.

In this episode, Aubree talks about her time at the University of Arizona and remembering what it was like to feel warm. Like, stepping into a preheated oven warm. Reminiscing about Totino’s Pizza and Margaritas encourages Aubree to play one of her favorite Jimmy Buffet Songs, on her mando that just so happened to be there.
Cindy Sweeney (Aubree's Mom) joins Aubree. They talk about Aubree’s newest addition, Atlas, and his many quirks. Such as, slurping worms from the ground, watching his self-cleaning litter box for hours on end and finding toys they've never seen before. They also talk about Paco’s criminal behaviors as a pup. He was a crook. Reformed now.
Aubree and Cindy share some stories of crazy adventures on the road together. They talk about stumbling across the most amazing roadside stop, Cline’s in New Mexico which is where Aubree discovered a love for maple walnut fudge. The time they had a real-life rollercoaster ride on old route 66 – it felt like they were on the mountain where the Grinch lives. The time they were attacked by a barrel cactus in Gates Pass, Tucson. Paco’s first trip to old Tucson and how much Aubree is looking forward to introducing him to South Dakota on her upcoming tour. They both love dinosaurs. So much.
Cindy shares some of her favorite camping memories… like the time the scamp rolled down the hill with her and Aubree (baby) in it. Fishing at Schramm in Louisville oh, and the time the RV rained Poop.
They wrap up this segment talking about the amazingness of Hobie Kayaks, visiting the Back Bay Science Center and that time they road BAD SWANS in Kansas City.
Aubree jumps back in with more info on Old Tucson and the Desert Museum, a must see if you’re in the area. She talks about her last visit, meeting up with some friends and her weird obsession with tumbleweeds. Wanting to get back on stage at Laffs and doing her first ever RV Park Show at Sun Valley RV Resort a few years back. That was the beginning of her never-ending campground tour because it was so much fun!
