    This is a poem I wrote for an innocent looking girl called Alice who when tempered up turns into a hell's angel of malice she resembles a fairytale princess fresh from a folkloric palace yet soon as she opens her mouth you think she's been drinking from the poisoned chalice with her hands in the air she stands about four feet tall but after a rise through with alcohol she turns into a native neanderthal, forget all about etiquette and protocol this little tomboy is more likely to be found scrapping on the terraces at an away game of football.

  • TRAINSPOTTING
    We used to be the bonhomie brothers of revelry we ghosts of the good Life now haunt past each other in the street with a gaze averted towards our feet , spirits and spectres have now all been exorcised by the big dry of sobriety which has turned us into normal members of society ; now they we don't strut so proud or shout too loud , now we just shuffle past you with our eyes down cowed and heads low bowed.

    A song I wrote in the old music hall traditiion of two verse chorus which is similar to the church stanza chorus stanza chorus I've also sang it in the baritone barber shop of a beggers opera style like that of my father who born in 1925 still bursts into song similar to a Mississippi minstrel .
