Comedy Tragedy Marriage

It was Maude the Tic Tic Tic Broad’s turn to pick what she and Stan the Movie Man watched and she selected the HBO comedy special Gary Gulman: The Great Depresh, chronicling the comedian’s battle with mental illness. Not the funniest standup you’ll ever see, but possibly the most important.

Stan the Movie Man attempts to drive Maude the Movie Broad over the edge with his choice of the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Does he succeed? You’ll need to listen to find out.

It was Maude’s choice this episode so she and Stan hit the road for the theater and watched the documentary Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice. Check out Stan’s movie reviews at stanthemovieman.com. Follow Stan on Twitter @moviemanstan and send emails to [email protected].

Stan and Maude talk about one of Stan’s favorite movies, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Follow Stan on Twitter @moviemanstan. Check out his movie reviews at stanthemovieman.com. Send an email to Stan and Maude at [email protected].

Stan the Movie Man and Maude the Movie Broad do their first episode in a battle of the sexes that doesn’t go as planned. They watch the Netflix original movie Always Be My Maybe and compare notes...which also doesn’t go as expected. Of course, this is their first episode so they don’t know what to expect. Each episode, they takes turns picking something to watch, they watch it together and see how much one of them hates it...or doesn’t.
