Then we rage about impossible packaging, verification codes, TVs with whisper-quiet dialogue and commercials loud enough to blow the windows out.

But that's not all! We also get into horror books, nostalgic Halloween commercials, true-crime TV shows taking creative liberties, questionable music tastes, dogs having imaginary conversations, weird dreams, broken TVs, weddings, bizarre encounters, creepy houses, spiders in cars, giant insects, and the eternal question:

Why the fuck is everything so difficult?!

Basically, this is less of a podcast episode and more of a group therapy session for people who are sick of technology. 😂

This month on Comedyville Horror Podcast, we watched Manos: The Hands of Fate — a 1966 horror movie that may very well be the most confusing, poorly dubbed, awkwardly edited piece of cinema we've ever subjected ourselves to.

What starts as a family road trip turns into a bizarre journey involving Torgo, the mysterious Master, creepy hand imagery, terrible fighting, questionable costumes, a suspiciously useless dog, endless staring at paintings, and enough awkward pauses to make us question whether the movie was actually finished.

We break down the movie's ridiculous plot, bizarre characters, painfully bad dubbing, strange editing, and the infamous pillow knees. We also discuss the movie's unusual origin story and how a fertilizer salesman ended up making one of horror's most notorious films.

Was there anything good about it? The cars were cool. The Master's cloak was pretty badass. And... that's about it.

So grab a drink, prepare to lose a few IQ points, and join us as we ask the most important question of all:

We kick things off with a brand-new pitcher plant that immediately becomes the inspiration for way too much cock talk, followed by a recap of a Lenny Kravitz concert where apparently every person in the building was sexually attracted to him.

Then we get into workplace bullshit, dealing with mean old ladies, saying “NO” to responsibility, a coworker who apparently discovered that switching from gas-station donuts to McDonald’s is a revolutionary weight-loss strategy, and an unexpected encounter with the legendary Wienermobile.

Add in fast-food disasters, Dolly Parton, terrible drivers, construction-induced road rage, a Walmart meltdown, getting locked out of the house, witchy plans, National Geographic costing sixteen fucking dollars, and a debate over whether AI is eventually going to destroy humanity… and you've got another completely unhinged episode.

No script. No real plan. Just two people talking shit for an hour.

This week on **Comedyville Horror Podcast**, we’re doing something a little different: we’re putting two horror shows head-to-head after watching their first episodes — **IT: Welcome to Derry** vs. **Ash vs. Evil Dead**!

First up, we dive into **Welcome to Derry**, the creepy prequel to the IT movies. We talk about the new Pennywise, the differences from Tim Curry’s version, the bizarre demon baby, the kids investigating Maddie’s disappearance, the disturbing racism throughout the episode, and that absolutely insane theater scene that ends with a LOT of dead kids. We also somehow spend a shocking amount of time talking about old-school movie projectors, newspaper archives, college textbooks, and how apparently nobody knew how to use the internet back then.

Then we jump into **Ash vs. Evil Dead**, where Bruce Campbell brings back everyone’s favorite chainsaw-wielding idiot. We talk about Ash’s ridiculous lifestyle, his encounter with a Deadite at the bar, the Necronomicon, the creepy cops, the tiny demon doll, Pablo and Kelly joining the chaos, and that gloriously gory chainsaw finale.

So which show wins the battle?

**Welcome to Derry** brings the creepy atmosphere, mystery, trauma, and some seriously WTF moments.

**Ash vs. Evil Dead** brings gore, ridiculousness, one-liners, chainsaws, and exactly the kind of horror-comedy we love.

We give our first-episode ratings, debate which show we’d keep watching, and decide what horror shows we should battle next.
