Sequels are never easy. And when you strip away everything that made the first movie even remotely fun, it makes a sequel even harder to justify. And yet, somehow Guyver: Dark Hero still tried.Twitter: @comicrundownInstagram: @comicbookrundownThreads: @comicbookrundownEmail: [email protected] by Joe Janero, Ron Hanes and Charlie Shaw Edited by Joe JaneroTheme song provided by Cam Malidor Find our t-shirts at Redbubble and TeePublic https://www.redbubble.com/shop/comic+book+rundown?ref=search_boxhttp://tee.pub/lic/vBbIJZ4eLQ0

Fresh off the events of Legends, Ted Kord tries to return to a more normal superhero life as the Blue Beetle. After a team up with the Teen Titans, he has to return to Pago Island, and then the first Blue Beetle, Dan Garrett, returns to take back the mantle. We are joined by Ron for this episode as we watched the two My Bloody Valentine movies and compared them to each other. Did you know the first one was a Canadian movie? We didn't when we first watched it, and boy does that sure explain some things.

On this episode, we head into the jungle in search of Skull Candy in the Skull Cave on Skull Island. We trip over some Skull Rocks and break our Skulls open against a Skull Ring attached to the hand of The Phantom. Every so often, someone takes an anime and makes a live action adaptation of it. Fist of the North Star is one of those attempts. It's definitely not Dragonball Z levels.Twitter: @comicrundownInstagram: @comicbookrundownThreads: @comicbookrundownEmail: [email protected] by Joe Janero, Ron Hanes and Charlie Shaw Edited by Joe JaneroTheme song provided by Cam Malidor Find our t-shirts at Redbubble and TeePublic https://www.redbubble.com/shop/comic+book+rundown?ref=search_boxhttp://tee.pub/lic/vBbIJZ4eLQ0
