The next drop in our Dawn of X coverage: welcome to the Cockcrow of X, when the cock crows or the crow cocks... Whatever.
Covered in this episode:
More Dawn of X coverage up your alley (finally) with our 5th (technically 6th) entry in this Marvel relaunch.
Covered in this episode:
Once upon a time, way back in the early to mid 90's, there was this super cool, super edgy cartoon where humans had turned into mutants and they all played sports. In these sports they played, it wasn't uncommon for an athlete to lose a limb or three, or come close to a brutal death. This was Mutant League.
Despite our childhood subconsciousness' best efforts to lead us to believe that this show was incredible, it was not. It is not. It really isn't very good, but it did make us laugh.
On the heels of out official episode, Bat Meat (Epi #42), we bring you the sequel to one of the books we covered there, Batman: Dark Victory.
We don't often do news-y episodes, but when something as big (and as great) as DC Fandome happens, even D'Lethal Weapons take notice.
We talk about a heap of reveals that DC dropped on top of our nerdy little heads this weekend; from The Batman to Suicide Squad to Wonder Woman and even more Batmen, check out our new name for the whole thing: The DCFU.
Back in April, DC Comics Twitter sent out a simple question - which 3 books are in your reading pile out of the following nine:
In today's meaty episode, we break down the exact definitive top 3 list (it really wasn't that hard) from this selection.
Back at it again with our next Dawn of X episode: this is our 4th entry, Morning of X!
Fantastic 4 meet the X-Men, Domino and Colossus share battle scars, Kate has to sink or swim, Sunspot and Deathbird romancing violence, we learn about the Crucible, Exodus is in some books, holy Nightcrawler, and remember Warwolves?
It's been a very very very long time coming, but we're finally here: The Hero Draft Finale!
It's down to our two finalists: Rogue and Psylocke - and we're here to give you backstory on them both, as well as set up the 3 different scenarios they will find themselves in for this final round - And it's up to you who will be crowned the champ.
The 3 rounds consist of:
1. A fight of their 90's iterations in The Savage Land
With those 3 matchups in mind, please hit the poll here and let us know who you all think would win the best 2 out of 3.
Going way back to our very first episode, we have had Hero Draft segments that we had tagged onto the end of most of our episodes, if you care to listen back. If not, the first 2 rounds are tallied up on our website.
If you know Comic Patrol, then you know we can't help but bring back snippets of our beloved 90s comic book cartoons.
It's Apocalypse, it's Sinister, it's Magneto, and telephaths and time manipulation and an existensial crisis.. It's a lot more Wolverine than makes sense. But hey, that's the 90s baby!
Welcome to our next DoX update episode - it's been a whiiiiiile (thanks, 2020), but we're back with more X-books.
Wolvie dazed and confused in the snow! Militant Hank McCoy! Sunspot the mack! And the end of Fallen Angels (and possibly some other mutant[s])! There's a lot happening in this update. Thankfully, Coke N Dank have all the summaries, commentary and hot takes you can (maybe) handle.
