May 08, 2023 Episode 118 - Create Your Own Rogues Team
Making their team debut in Flash #155 all the way back in September 1965, The Rogues (consisting of some of the best villains the Flash has to offer) have been a thorn in the Flash's side for years. For this episode, the Comic Talkers continue on with Flash Month as Brandon, Mari, and Bryce are given the responsibility of taking down the Flash as they have to create their own Rogues team. These teams will consist of five members (one of these characters though cannot be a Flash villain or has never been apart of a Rogues team before). Who will make it onto their teams? Tune in to find out.

The Comic Talkers has just entered the Speed Force as they dash into Flash Month. Throughout the history of DC Comics, there have been multiple Flashes. And with each Flash comes a lot of moments that help change the landscape of the DC Universe. For this episode, The Comic Talkers continue on with Guardians of the Galaxy Month by taking on the Forgotten Hero Segment. Of course as always, the forgotten series goes over characters, teams, etc. that have tended to be forgotten about within the comic book world and how they could make their triumphant return to the pages of a comic book. This time, Mari and Brandon discuss two different heroes with the same title. Of course we are covering the heroes Wendell Vaughn and Avril Kincaid, also known as Quasar. Tune in as Mari and Brandon discuss these characters and how they would write Wendell and Avril back into the Marvel Universe.

For this episode, the Comic Talkers continue on with Guardians of the Galaxy Month as Mari and Brandon discuss the comic book arc “Guardians
of the Galaxy: Legacy.” This story is written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with art by Paul Pelletier. Picking up after the events of Annihilation:
Conquest, Star-Lord forms a team that consists of Quasar, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Adam Warlock, and Groot as this team of butt-kickers races across the galaxy to take on the Universal Church of Truth and their lethal Cardinals, encounter someone from the Guardians of the Galaxy from the year 3000, and even has to deal with the threat of Skrulls on their home base of Knowhere. Will this team ever catch a break? I think not!
