April 24, 2024SupportToday we talk about the importance of where we get support. If we have trauma it's important to seek out healthy and trauma informed support systems so that we are validated in our experience. It's easy to have more damage done when sharing our experience with people that don't understand. It's also important to find people that understand the issue you need support with. If you struggle with alcohol AA is a good group. If you struggle with food OA might be a good option. People that don't understand can discount your experience. There are others that don't want to see you grow for their own fears and self reflection. Changing your tribe can be scary and also valuable to living in new healthy ways.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/comical-recovery--5543405/support....more15minPlay
