We kick off ending the West Coast Avengers series!  HAL 9000 steps in for Iron Man and the announcer from SNL knocks your socks off.  This was my second time recording this episode since my iPhone destroyed it (and very nearly itself) last week, hopefully that only made it better.

I originally meant to wait a week or two to upload these but why wait? -- Taking a quick break due to a vacation in Tennessee visiting family where I found myself unable to do my normal podcast, I bring you a Deadpool special in honor of the greatest superhero movie *I've* ever seen.  Okay, the funniest.  And dirtiest.  Not so much my usual thing but still fun.  PLEASE NOTE: If this is your first episode of this podcast, I read comics to you, and sometimes I comment on them.  It's not that great.  Part two coming Wednesday, then the finale of West Coast Avengers (I hear all of you at the edges of your seats.  Sitting at the edge of your seat is a very quiet thing actually, so I guess you all know what my super-power is now).  Enjoy!

Part two of issue #3.  The end of the miniseries is in sight!  Thank the heavens.  I may move to Underground Comix from the 60's after enduring this crap.  I try a bit of comedy near the beginning announcing the  "Fourthmeal" sponsorship and learn that it's very hard to go from narrator voice to standup comedy voice so I would just skip that part.  Please.  Otherwise another very fun episode and Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs makes his first appearance (just listen).

Moving on to issue #3!  We get the announcement that the next series covered will be the first three issues of Spectacular Spider-Man (1976), which promises to be much higher quality but possibly less funny.  We'll see I guess!  Great ad analysis and Radio Guy and Bane make their entrance (just listen).  Comics I Read To You is now on iTunes!  We finally got those guys to recognize us!  Ah, what a great moment in the history of audio entertainment.  Enjoy, my pretties.

Halfway home!  I continue working on my audiobook narration ability, and you hopefully continue to be entertained.  We examine Dazzler and why every superhero with a fictitious tie to the entertainment industry sucks.  Put aside 45 minutes for your ears and pull up a chair (I suggest a therapist's couch) for more Comics I Read To You.

Moving on to issue #2!  We hear lots of long, expository superhero thought bubbles and discover a tale of Jim Starlin, the would-be murderer.  Note that while I explain that this series was a hot commodity circa 1987, that does not change the fact that it is probably in the 50-cent bins today. My reading quality is not the greatest due to a couple beers consumed during the Super Bowl, but perhaps that will pay off in other ways.  I'll change the pictures attached to these to more appropriate ones when I discover that anyone gives a crap.  Sit back and enjoy the Comics I Read To You.  Twitter: @zenmonstermedia
