This feels very much like something Doug Moench might have written. Reminds me a bit of Vol 3’s “The Resurrection War.” See our PotMK episode entitled “It Turns Out He Was Only Mostly Dead” for more on that. A lot of character narration over the action. Characters introduced themselves every issue. Do all faiths end up in the Duat in the Marvel universe? This I do not understand. It also seems weird that there are cars and modern cities. This is a bit of a “greatest hits” album, bringing back almost all of MKs old foes – or at least the truly villainous ones. No Scarlett, for instance. Legion of the Unliving is quite the name. It’s always Randall when you least expect it! We have a Khonshu sighting Also is a bit weird, in that it finishes with Layla saying “Be Seeing you, Marc.” Will she?? On Earth? Or back in the Duat? I think Lyla is back on earth. Resurrected for her help defeating Jackal Knight Randall What’s up with him just completely forgetting about the fact he has a girlfriend? Greer deserves better than this guy. - Moon Knight (2021-2023) #25-30
