Comics Place presents... (formerly Perfectly Acceptable Podcast by Comics Place)

Jeff is still like…. Really really sick. I’m pretty sure you can hear him take a hit of Nyquil in the middle of this beast. That’s alright though, because Colette stopped by to improve morale for everybody! So join Colette, Django, & Jeff as they sit down to discuss this week’s books, including a bunch of giant comics! Giant comics like… Batman Last Knight on Earth #1, Doomsday Clock #10, Superman Leviathan Rising Special #1, X-23 #23, & Daredevil #6, among others of course. (I promise they weren’t all DC books…)

Folks! Join Roman, Jeff, & Django as we gather round for Papa Braden’s story time! That’s right, much like Rodimus Prime unlocking the matrix of leadership, Braden returns to light our darkest hour. Jeff clearly can’t remember what kinds of donuts Braden likes… and also, I’m sorry folks, but I think I lost a goof Django made about a poo-donut? Or a #2 donut? Or something… anyway I told him halfway through the cast it wasn’t getting cut but It seems to have gone missing… I digress! We talk about War of the Realms Journey Into Mystery #3, Dial H for Hero #3, Flash #71, Unstoppable Wasp #8, Ghost Tree #2, & Runaways #21. And a bunch of others… Sit at Pop-Pops feet with us and listen to his tales!

That’s right folks! The boys are back at it. And just in time, because Roman and Django left for Las Vegas the day after recording this and Jeff, Justin, Colette, & Ashton have only just barely been surviving without them! But, before the madness occurred, Django, Roman, & Jeff sit down to talk about the weeks books… That means We’re talking Naomi #5, Immortal Hulk #17, Spider-Man Life Story #3, Daredevil #5, Last Stop on the Red Line #1, & Batman #71. And for everybody’s benefit I cut out the 45 minute argument about half-tone dots that Jeff and Django descended into for the last hour we were together. You’re welcome.

Django, Roman, and Jeff make the long hard trek to the penthouse in the sky! That’s right, the dawning of a new era, after turning off the lights to the PAPCave one last time we break in a new studio! It’s not without its problems, as I’m’ sure you’ll notice. Not the least of which is a strange Star Trek toy that kept turning on during the record. Also, Jeff and Django both lay the seeds for future plans to burn the other down in this episode… Nevertheless, we powered through and managed to have a great time talking about this week’s books. I’m talking DC’s Year of the Villain #1, Batman #70, Five Years #1, Marvel Team-Up #2, Savage Avengers #1, and Gogor #1 Among others. And we get a great voicemail message from the one and only Trevor!
