On this day, 25 years ago, DreamWorks Animation released Shrek in theaters, forever impacting the studio and the animation industry, becoming the first film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. To celebrate the 25th anniversary, I’ll be doing a commentary on this mean green 3D film.

2014 was quite a year for Marvel superhero movies. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we were treated to Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. Outside the MCU, we were given X-Men Days of Future Past and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Whereas the first three films I mentioned are great, Amazing Spider-Man 2 is kind of a mess. And I’ll be doing a commentary on it. Let’s take a look at the last outing in Andrew Garfield’s solo series.
