African literature has been widely recognized as an important cultural expression that reflects the continent's diverse social, historical, and political experiences. However, it has also faced numerous challenges that have limited its reach and impact. One of the major issues with African literature is the lack of access and visibility, lack of native plots identified in African books. Many African writers struggle to get their works published and promoted, and their stories are often overlooked by mainstream publishers and readers.

Another issue is the limited representation of diverse perspectives and experiences within African literature. Although there are numerous talented African writers, many of them are not able to fully explore and share their unique voices due to various barriers, such as censorship, government oppression, and social stigma.

Furthermore, some African writers have been accused of hindering their own progress while doing everything possible to get their works identified globally. it's said that, certain books that were written to showcase the African culture and rich practices in certain areas have been properly plotted or given names to crown the originality of the book and what story it was supposed to tell. Some lacked African names, while others where plotted foreign locations while the writer struggled to tell the stories locally.

Meanwhile, despite these challenges, there have been efforts to promote and amplify African literature, such as through the establishment of literary awards, festivals, and initiatives to support emerging writers. Additionally, the rise of digital publishing and social media platforms has provided new opportunities for African writers to reach wider audiences.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared as null and void, the purported declaration of the All Progressives Congress APC Governorship Candidate in Adamawa state, Aisha Dahiru Binani by the state Resident Electoral Commissioner REC as duly elected.

According to the commission, the REC has no such powers as only the Returning Officer for the election is constitutionally mandated to make returns.
