Robots and men, thieves and tree-beings. What can't this man do?

Stephen Russell is synonymous with the Bethesda Fallout series, playing Codsworth and Nick Valentine in Fallout 4, but also originating the role of Garrett in the Thief series. Stephen chats with Evan about The Man With Too Many Fat Globules, Hemo The Magnificent and other various oddballs. He also talks about working smaller games, his early interest in radio serials, his inspirations for some of his characters and what the hardest part about saying Mr. Boobies over and over was.

Call him Doug of Bournemouth.

Doug Cockle may have fled our shores to live in the land of Blood Pudding and this guy, but his voice is very much all over the video gaming world. As the sole voice of Geralt Of Rivia in the Witcher series, Doug has voiced hundreds of hours of adventures with characters like Dandelion (who is not a flower), Roach (who is not a bug) and Hemmelfart (who is not...voiced).

Doug chats with Evan about the various meanings of pants, why an American can't catch a break in English television and the how he longs for the cubicle life. He also answers a bunch of listener questions, which you can always contribute to by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

What were you doing when you were 19?Did you have a string of roles in major animated series like Batman: The Brave & The Bold, Adventure Time and Voltron: Legendary Defender? Did you have a bit part in Team America: World Police recorded mere days before its release? What about having a band that has played San Diego Comic Con, an acting career spanning over a decade and the kind of hair that only attractive young men are able to pull off? No? Then you aren't Jeremy Shada.

Jeremy takes time from his busy schedule to chat about how his parents aren't insane, why growing up in animation can be tricky and how fun it is to steal jobs from your siblings.

A big-hearted man filled with the voices of hundreds of tiny evils. Dino Andrade's first "credits" may have been as the voice of the gremlins from House, but fast forward a few decades and you can hear him all over games like Arkham Asylum (which he is reprising in the new Arkham Underworld game) and World Of Warcraft or anime like Hellsing Ultimate and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Dino talks with Evan about working behind the scenes in Hollywood, music videos and more, how his late wife (and fellow voice actor) Mary Kay Bergman continues to influence his life and the importance of being a geek.

Check out our brand new Patreon campaign. We'll be posting outtakes from this interview in a few days, including a clip about Dino's time with the Wrap Patrol and working on WoW.

The Show That Almost Wasn't But Then Was.

Nicki Rapp and The Voice Behind have troubled past, one filled with bulldozers, day jobs, and bad bar WiFi. But both her and we are tenacious, and so we bring to you the voice of Lili, Lilly and...uh...Lilly.

Nicki chats with Evan about her early rollerskating dreams, lazy Sims cosplayers and the pain of having to keep a secret like Psychonauts 2.

This week we've got what could possibly the next "that guy from the commercials".

Tim Paige may have started as a sensitive pop-punk singer (left side guitar player), but for the last 4 years he's lent his speaking voice to commercials for the UFC, Disney and the Travel Channel, plus the occasional role in video games.

Tim chats with Evan about what draws him to narration (over character work), how his musical background helps him think on his feet and his work on podcasts, both his own and others.

The manliest man in VO comes to The Voice Behind!

Gavin Hammon may have the name of a Welsh mountain puncher, but he's known for his roles as softer bearded men like Kenny (NSFW) from The Walking Dead and harder, non bearded men like Beast, Dee and Dum from The Wolf Among Us, plus or minus some educational toys and the occasional furred devil beast.

Gavin talks about "concatenation", being recorded as a small child and his time as the backbone of one of the Bay Area's finer ska bands.

Cissy Jones, face like an angel, voice like a slightly smokier angel, name like a 70s blaxploitation heroine.

Cissy Jones might be a newer name on the VO front, but this former office manager has given voice to characters in Life Is Strange, The Walking Dead, and most recently Firewatch (all links come with a spoiler warning). Cissy talks about how being an actor is like running a business, why actors have to be crazy and if it is possible to be emotional while wearing sweats.
