Christopher, like many of us had to learn the hard way, that he deserves to be loved and to do that, he needs to be vulnerable. But since he has learned it, he has begun teaching others to do the same as a vulnerability coach who has taken his life to the road. This conversation spans how vulnerability and masculinity intercede as well as takes us on a dive into authenticity, mental health, and relationship.
You can find Christopher @becoming_christopher_on Instagram where you can find his coaching, poetry, and other creative projects. Join him in his creative project at www.theheartunion.com to join a community of creatives or for his two-day Self-Love Workshop to help guide you to your own vulnerability.
And remember people, be vulnerable!

This episode I am joined again by Daniel Rosenthal but this time to discuss the hero's journey and how it relates to some of our favorite books, characters, and real life people. There is a lot of discussion about Harry Potter, with no shame from either of us. Plus, we discuss how villains are just heroes who haven't had their redemption arch (or didn't choose redemption). And how dystopian novels give insight into what is actually happening in the world around us.

Liz and Zack are fellow podcasters over at @myfavortiveburgerpod on IG or on Spotify. Their show is full of jokes, puns, and pop culture references that go straight over my head (as they do in this episode). Just because they brought the laughs, doesn't mean we didn't also hit on real life things that make us human. If anything, I think we all learned, just a little, that you can have a conversation about real human things and still do so with a smile and laugh. Life isn't easy, but we have the ability to lighten it up for ourselves and those around us. Liz and Zach are a great representation of that!
You can check out Zack's music from @zackgross and follow him on IG @zackgrossmusic and support his artistry.

Maurina Venturelli is a leader in her field who has implemented empathy in her workplace. This seemingly extreme action of encouraging her teams to open up and care for one another on a human level has helped increase their ability to work together and be effective on the job. This same idea is the backbone for a project she is trying to implement within the schools of LCSD1 called "What's Your Heart Color?" This program provides a way for students and teachers to tell people how they are feeling and provide support. She is also a proud supporter of literature and making sure students retain access to books of all genres and themes. We also dive into what it means to give ourselves grace as we grow and to embrace the power of and, in knowing that you can be both.

Bradley and I traverse many facets of the human experience. From knowing your beliefs and having the self awareness to challenge them when presented with new information, to using that awareness to filter the mass amount of information we receive everyday. As the creator of the How Game Are You? card game (that we use in the show) and we discuss how and why he developed a game to encourage open communication, into the versions built to help kids and grandparents connect. Oh, we also discuss the scary spiders and snakes in Australia.
