I just read the entire transcript of the word infamous phone between the President of the United States and the President of the Ukrain. I keep the editorial down to a minimal, Just hope a few of the liberal listen and start to use a little common sense.

So once again the political winds are blowing left and right, and the media is reporting all things anti-trump!
But wait, they hate it when I do this, I have found the Smoking Gun.
In all actuality, I have found a couple of smoking guns and this is going to really kind of upset a few people.

I normally do podcasts in relation to local politics, like driving on the beach in Volusia County, the Volusia County Council how they want to ban this or that, or how they're raising taxes locally, and on and on and on, to the point of ad nauseam.
In the immortal words of the late great Ronald Reagan president of the United States, He said Just remember all government is local.
Which is why I started this podcast to discuss local politics in cities and counties in the area.
So this pertains to all Volusia County residence, Florida residents, and citizens of the United States.
So back to the subject matter at hand, the smoking guns, plural, because there are a few.
So let's hit the Wayback machine mr. Peabody, and go back to the year 2015 somewhere around March 25 + March 31st.
Thanks to Wikipedia, we have a semiaccurate timeline as to what happened on that date in 2015.
According to Wikipedia, and I'm going to condense this for you because it's a pretty long wordy paragraph, somewhere between March 25th and March 31st Mr Mills of Platte River networks deleted over 30 thousand Hilary Clinton e-mails, This is where Hillary Clinton had her classified emails stored on a private server, when she was the Secretary of State.
It is estimated somewhere in the neighborhood of 30,000 emails or depleted.
Oh by the way this was also after United States Congress subpoenaed her emails to look into this issue. In other words she destroyed evidence in an investigation by Congress.
Can we say obstruction of justice?

Now let's jump forward a little bit to June 27th, 2016.
It was a clear and warm evening on the 27th of July, between the hours of 7 and 8 pm.
Somewhere on the west side of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Here's the crazy question. What was Loretta Lynch the attorney general for Barack Obama, doing there, and just so happens that Bill Clinton, the ex-president United States, Husband of Hilary Clinton, was also there at the airport at that exact time?
Let me just say this about all of that.
The Attorney General of the United States, and the next president of the United States, do not meet with people unless it has been set up prior to.
And how do I know this?
I was an elected official in Volusia County. And I did not meet with anybody unless we had a predetermined meeting time, date, and location. Otherwise you will spend your entire day running all over the world meeting and talking with people about things that are not pertinent to the situations at that time, or things that are coming up to be voted on, and you spend a lot of time dealing with lost cats and dogs, or house issues, or whatever is on their mind.
It's called proper time management, and every elected official does this so they do not get bogged down with things that are not on an agenda or up for a vote in the near future. It's just the way things are done.
Yet here we are having an impromptu meeting at an airport, on the tarmac, at 7 or 8 at night, in the hundred plus degree Heat.
And both Loretta Lynch, and Bill Clinton said we talked about our grandchildren.
Okay.
Yeah, right. You know I was born at night, but it sure wasn't last night.
No one can convince me that Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch, talked about their grandchildren on a Tarmac for 40 minutes plus.
Of course we now know that the state department Inspector General to the report and the FBI investigated, and blah blah blah blah blah. And lo and behold, surprise to everybody in the country, if not the world, Hillary Clinton was not...

Well now it's been a few days since the bombshell of the world Infamous now Ukrainian phone call from the president of the United States.
I happen to have been listening to mr. Rush Limbaugh this fine and glorious Friday Sep. 27, 2019 and he made a very interesting point.
The point was that the Democrats have failed, they have failed to instill fear in the Republican support for President Donald Trump, they have failed to have everybody run from the president of the United States and his support, they have failed by just uttering the word impeachment and starting the inquiry against a president of the United States.
The question the mister Limbaugh has brought up is why did they fail?
Why does Donald Trump still have support, why does President Donald Trump still rise in the polls, why did he not cower and run away from the office and let the vice president take over?
That's really some good questions there.
But the question I have for you, The American citizen, the intellectuals of this nation, those who have been keeping up with current events, those of us that pay the salaries of those who ”represent us”.
A better question is when did you learn to read?
Yes when did you learn to read,?
2008 apparently nobody was reading because the worst president in the history of our country mr. Barack Obama, was elected.

Even though all the information was out there for you to read, about his religion, about his questionable Heritage, where he was born, about his inability to actually do a job as a senator, to find out that he was nothing more than just a community organizer, all of that information was out there yet, you elected Barack Hussein Obama.
I for one was reading all of the questionable information on him, and comprehending all the information and storing it in my little brain.

I did not, would not, could not vote for Barack Obama.
Not for the fact that he was a Democrat and I was not, no because of all the gray history in this man and his past life.
But I'm not here to talk about the past.
Well at least not 10 years ago passed.
I'm here to talk about four years ago.
Since day one after the election of President Donald J Trump, the Democrats started to spout the word impeach.
They tried everything in their quiver of dirty tricks, to have this duly elected president removed from office. And they failed.

They tried a phony dossier created to paint a bad picture about mr. Trump, Russian collusion.
And during the entire process they said we will find something in there to impeach the president.
And they failed.
They then went down obstruction of justice roads, he obstructed them from doing their investigation this is a crime and lo and behold.
Yet their savior Mr. Bob Muller, failed them and they did not get the convictions or even the recommendation for charges against the president for impeachment.
They failed.
They have even tried to implicate him in tax fraud, inappropriate behavior, campaign violations, and everything it seems under the sun to try to impeach the president of the United States.
And they have failed.
So now the latest coup attempt to oust the duly elected president of the United States is once again upon us, this time it's in the form of a whistleblower report.
The constitution says that there has to be high crimes or misdemeanors, which is actually anything the house of representatives decide it is.
By the way if you haven't seen The Whistleblower report, it was dated 12th August 2019 and sent to Mr. Shiff on the House of Representatives intelligence committee.
There is something up there folks, August 12th, within a few days of that, Adam Schiff had a copy of The Whistleblower report.
Very soon after that, the Lame stream media is reporting on it.

So here we are again.
Once again another exciting episode of the continuing Saga of as the stomach turns.

Once again the Congressional dog and pony show, or circus with all the clowns, is in session grilling Joseph Maguire the acting director of intelligence.
In his opening statement The Honorable Joseph McGuire made his case about how the process of disseminating this information to the intelligence Committee of the House of Representatives was processed. Yet, in the opening questioning lines the chairman, representative Adam Schiff, grilled him on the legal process for bringing forth to this committee the information they requested.
Let me preface this next statement, Mr. Maguire followed the rules!
He followed his process as should have been done for the protection of a whistleblower and their identity, And to make sure that executive privilege was not violated by him and his office, which he has no jurisdiction over.
Yet, chairman Schiff grilled Mr. McGuire repeatedly over whether or not he first went to the White House.
This is a process that legally he had to follow, due to the fact that this was a conversation the president of the United States Donald J Trump had with a foreign leader.
Chairman Schiff several times, I lost count after 6, asked Mr. McGuire “did you go to the White House first?”
{SB FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE}
To which Mr Maguire repeatedly answered, I went to the office legal opinion of the White House counsel, due to the fact that executive privilege was involved.
Time and time again Mr. Schiff asked the same question trying to get Mr. McGuire to say that he went there because he works for the president.
So basically folks, the circus is back in town again, and the clowns are running the Big Top.
The Democrats will not give this President a win, a pass, or any benefit of the doubt as to anything he does in the White House.

The president of the Ukraine himself even said there was no pressure put on him to clean up his own swamp like he has stated he was doing in his phone call with the president, as a matter of fact they will not even give Mr. McGuire a pass even though he is quoted the law several times about the legal term urgent concern.
The term “Urgent Concern” means that a member of the intelligence community under the director of intelligence was involved in a wrong doing.
The president of the United States is not a member of the intelligence community.
He is the chief executive of the federal government.
He is allowed by the Constitution, actually encouraged by the Constitution, to reach out to foreign governments and leaders to address issues of trade, immigration, and Corruption!
If the president of the United States is going to have his hands tied by Congress to do such things, that basically takes the United States Constitution, rips it into millions of pieces and discards it with other trash.
Yet the Democrats on this committee, intelligence committee which there seems to be a lack of intelligence up there, have failed to accept the opening statement of Mr. McGuire as fact, and they are constantly pushing him to break protocol.

One of the rules of the executive branch which is accepted by Congress and the Senate and every other individual in the world, is that a conversation between The President an individual in the executive branch, is priveledged.
This rule extends to every member of the executive branch.
How could you retain the confidence of a sitting president if every time you had a conversation, you ran out to Congress or the Senate and we're telling people about what you talked about.
I think it was best said by Mr Nunes that the Democrats are just looking for something to impeach the president of the United States.

So here they go again, the talking heads are again on the subject of poo-poo.
It actually amazes me how so many can speak of a subject, and really do not have the facts straight, so it is up to individuals like you and I, to research the issue, and let the world know that the group think is not, and I will say again NOT, what the reality of the situation is.
There has been some renewed discussions about the need for a sewer system in Volusia County and, as well as, making you hook up to an existing one, that is if you are within a certain distance from it.

As a matter of the facts, the Volusia County Government wanted you, the voters of the greatest county in the entire state of Florida, in my personal opinion, to vote in favor of some half baked money grabbing scheme called the half cent tax, for good roads and better water, and they wanted you to do this so badly, they had a special election for it.
In a presentation, the sitting county chair, waved a paper around and kept stating that it was needed, and “it is right here!”
No one was allowed to see the infamous paper that was waived around, and of course the referendum failed, and the rest is history.

After the failure, the county management, I feel, was in turmoil, IT DO NOT PASS, OH NOW WHAT DO WE DO?
I do not know who came up with the fix for it, but I am sure one of our illustrious council members, who was a past city commissioner found the recourse, increase property taxes to cover the cost.
So now we have the last of the budget hearings, and well there will be another 4.8 percent, they call it a tax increase, I call it a punishment on the citizens for not passing their half cent tax, allocated on our property.

Now we can have better roads, that’s a joke, and better water, the punch line to the joke.
Let me explain.
The department of roads and bridges has a listing of all the roads in need of repair, and the dates the will begin work on the. This is repairing pot holes, cracks, and such. This is not about building new roads, it is about repair. Not anywhere near the million dollars plus per mile cost of building a new road.
As far as the water situation, all our drinking water comes from the aquifer, and I discussed that in a previous podcast.
This failed tax vote was about waste water treatment plants, so you can be charged 12 to 15 thousand dollars for you to hook up to a sewer system.
How do I know this, I was there, in these preliminary meetings, so I have first hand experience.
What you cannot pay that? Well there is aplan in place for that, they will be so nice to assess it to your tax bill, and you can make annual payments on your property taxes.
How nice of them to do that for you.
Not really.
For you see my dear friends and neighbors, it is all just a money grab, and to be honest, it is more dangerous to the environment to have a CO2 belching, overpriced, inefficient waste water treatment plant, than to have a properly maintained septic system.
What? Septic tanks are better than a sewer system?
Here it is folks, the truth they do not want you to hear, listen up all you environmentalist, because this may contradict all that you may have heard, and of course you will not believe it.

All of this information I am about to give you, comes from a simple google search, first I will explain to you the process of a treatment plant, that will attempt to handle anywhere from 20 to maybe 50 thousand homes, which is about a half a million individual, if you include businesses and patrons.
First things first, Sewer plants are made of concrete, and you may not know this, but concrete expels a tremendous amount of CO2, and other green house gases when it is hardening and curing. Just thought I would let you know the several tons of concrete needed to...

Sometimes I wonder if the truth about government, and the powers that be, is ever heard on this podcast.
To be honest, there for a while I was contemplating the last show, and what I would say. How would I end my ramblings about the ills of government and how it was destroying our way of life.
I then would have to find some other endeavor to occupy my time, here in the old Iron bunker, doing my best to stay out of the hair of the boss. Trust me; you never want to poke the bear.
As I contemplate this option in my retirement years, and truly consider the fading off into political and internet obscurity, someone opens up a can of worms, and writes something or posts a comment on the old book of faces, or in an e-mail to me.
Sometimes I get a phone call from an adoring admirer, stating an issue that reignites the fire in my political soul, causing me to put pen to paper, and energize my creative juices into a boil.

Yes folks it is time to wake up, have that cup of coffee, and get it in gear.
He discusses the crippled campaign finance system.
The ultimate answer is there are no teeth in the enforcement of our campaign finance system.
Most do not know that our Volusia County Representative, Deb Denys, was actually charged with campaign finance irregularities. By the way this is a felony, not a big one like perjury, but still a felony.
She pled no contest, and was adjudicated guilty, with a small fine. I believe it was 1200 dollars.
No big deal to someone that has mucho bucks in her account.
By the way, she had to pay it out of her personal account, not a campaign account. Federal law.
Then on she goes doing, whatever she was doing, like nothing happened.
There is the problem, you break the law, a small slap on the hand, and off you go. Maybe the punishment should fit the crime. Like, oh, removal from office for being a convicted felon?

Last week I spoke with Jeff Brower, and he is running for the Volusia County Chair, in 2020.
Now, I have known Jeff for some time now, and I have discussed the inner workings of the County Government, and he has decided to go for it.
I guess it did not scare him off.

In the very near future, actually after the New Year, I will be reaching out to those who are running, and asking them some very pointed questions about taxes (my favorite), homeless shelters, roads bridges, hurricane preparedness, and other issues.

Now enters the 1 billion dollar gorilla in the room.
Yup, with the new over bloated budget, and honestly, no one there to stop it, The Volusia County Council voted to raise your property taxes 4.8 Percent.
This brings the grand total of 980 million dollars to the never ending spending and getting nothing done hands of the Volusia County Manager.
I am sorry, George Recktewald, but I have yet to see anything getting done in our county.
The only thing that is happening is the Fire services are getting into the area of out of control, really how many...

So here we go again.
Enter the political ramblings of Mark Barker from Barkers view, posted sep 18, 2019. Speaking to those of you with an open mind about the ills of politics.
Once again I say well done Mark.
I read about the issues of the Ormond by the Sea organization, which was established to fight “city Hall” if you will, to basically become self governing group, to fight those who would destroy their way of living. Great Idea, but………, yes there is always a but.
To accomplish the end goals of self governance you have to create a governing body, or else the big boys of the county and cities will just walk all over you.
When I say the big boys, I mean the City and County managers, for you see, they are the ones that run the show. Make the real decisions, and push their agendas on the little people, also known as the citizens of the county, under the guise of Smart Growth, or economic structure.
A little history
The Ormond-by-the-Sea Association was formed by a group of concerned citizens to fight for the community’s right to self-determination and freedom from what they perceive as governmental interference in their lives and property.
This sounded like a great idea at first, and as a young lad I spent many a Summers end in the sleepy little town, frolicking on the beach, and enjoying the last hoorah of summer.
Ahh, good times. Free of all the BS of my future life, living for the minute, and just enjoying the time with family.
Like all good things though, it had to end, and so it would seem with the citizens of Ormond by the sea.
As most of you may know, I was the Volusia County Chair, The first, and apparently only, conservative chair to ever sit on the council. Just saying by the votes I have seen being made on the council.
When I was elected, I thought I had an Idea of what was going on, and how the county worked. Man was I ever wrong, as so are a lot of you.
It took me a very short period of time to realize that, even though I was the head of the County Government, I had very little authority.
I could not make any decisions, without the managers approval. This is in respect to the day to day operations.
I did not make my schedule. It was made by staff members under the direction of the manager.
I did not assemble the special council meetings, or the meeting agenda, that was done by the county manager.
I could not even hire anyone, nor fire anyone, as a matter of fact, I had no decision as to where my office was or even who was my administrative assistant. All those decisions were made by the County Manager.
Are you seeing the trend here?
The same is said for the cities in Volusia County. The city managers say what is on the agendas, they say how the budget is spent, they say what issues will be addressed, and they are the ones that push for annexation of smaller communities.
It has been said many times before, money talks and BS walks, And I am afraid it is all about the money.
Just a question, how much revenue will Ormond Beach acquire if the annex Ormond by the sea?
If you get that number, you will more than likely understand the reason for the push for annexation.
Now the reason it will go through the city council.
As I have stated, the managers are the ones with the power. And no one will say that more often than I, especially when it comes to re-elections.
For you see, all the managers have contacts in their communities, and beyond, and if you need to have those all important donations from the big money donors of the five families, you had better stay on script.
I was promised, by all the big donors, the all important donations, but I believe that because I voted against Jim Dineen’s budget my last year in office, all of a sudden, the money dried up. I also lost support of the local political executive committee, after a meeting with their chairman and the County Manager.
