Ellen Kelly, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BCS-F of Vanderbilt University joins Sara MacIntyre to discuss what focusing on Communication over Fluency may mean in effective stuttering therapy. Dr. Kelly shares her experience and evolution as a therapist and researcher and encourages clinicians to re-consider goals strictly related to speech tools for a variety of reasons.
