The idea for Malta House of Care began in 2004, when a group of Hartford-area Knights and Dames of Malta agreed that the mission of their international organization–to serve the sick and poor–called them to do more than just talk; they felt they needed to take action to address the striking disparities in health care access and quality in the Greater Hartford region.

Bunkers in Baghdad is a not-for-profit charity that collects and sends new and used golf balls, clubs, and equipment to our troops around the world, with a focus on the brave men and women currently serving in combat zones. Bunkers also supplies golf equipment to Wounded Warriors Programs around the country to aid in the rehabilitation of our injured veterans.

Our mission at Northeast Opportunities for Wellness is simple, but so important:to make a positive impact in the lives of Northeast Connecticut youth by ensuring access to programs that promote social, emotional, and physical wellness – regardless of ability to pay. Because with opportunities for wellness NOW, kids can be healthier and happier for life.

We are a compassionate nonprofit serving Connecticut and Hudson Valley New York with professional counseling, support groups, wellness activities and educational resources. Thousands of people facing cancer come to us for support, all at no charge. We assist you and your loved ones to create a unique pathway through cancer that enhances your quality of life. Hasard Lee is an Air Force fighter pilot who graduated from the United States Air Force Academy. After serving as Flight Commander in combat, Hasard became the Chief of F-35 Training Systems for the largest training base in the world, where he led the development of new technology and teaching methods to train future fighter pilots.
