This week we look at a passage from Luke 5, where Jesus answers a question about spiritual disciplines. We define what a spiritual discipline is, we examine improper/proper motivations for them, and we consider the examples laid out in Scripture to ultimately ask ourselves if we're applying spiritual discipline to our lives?

This week we look at when Jesus calls Matthew to follow Him. As a tax collector, Matthew would have been the very last person the Jews considered worthy of being called by Jesus. In this story, we learn powerful lessons on repentance, humility, and redemption. What type of heart is Jesus looking for in people?

In the second half of our look at Jesus as Healer, we take the four lessons from the leper, and examine how they apply to when Jesus healed a paralyzed man in front of grumbling Pharisees. We continue to ask ourselves how we approach, understand, and then respond to Jesus as our Healer.

This week we look at a situation where Jesus heals a leper and all we can learn from this unnamed man's interaction with the Lord. This leper teaches us much about relating to and knowing Jesus as our Healer, including a proper focus, a proper attitude, and a proper understanding.
