We all struggle with anxiety. Whether you deal with everyday anxiety (the stress of changes, hard circumstances, or a too-busy life) or clinical anxiety (and you need therapy and/or medication to manage), none of us are getting through life without anxiety. With God, there is help and hope. God doesn’t promise to take your anxiety away, but he does promise to give you a never-ending supply of peace, provision, and strength, as you deal with the stresses of life. We’re all prone to forgetfulness. Maybe, on your drive to work, you realize you forgot to turn the crockpot on for dinner tonight. Or maybe you forgot a deadline at work. Maybe you forgot to respond to your friend’s text. But sometimes we forget something else… God’s goodness. When we’re struggling, it’s natural to rely on God. After all, we know we can’t do it all alone, and we need God. But when things are good, and life feels easy, it’s just as vital to remember that God is good all the time. Watch this message for more!

Heartbreak is an inevitable part of being alive. Throughout our lives, we’ll lose relationships, lose people, and lose things we held so dear. It’s not a matter of if we’ll go through it -- but when. Thankfully, God is there, and when we are heartbroken, we can experience his peace and his presence. We can’t avoid pain, but we can walk through it with God. Watch this message!

Are you feeling confused? Maybe you thought you had it all figured out, but now you’re unfulfilled and longing for more. Maybe you’re wondering why you haven’t found the right person — or maybe you were so sure you’d found the right person on your wedding day, and you’re now wondering how it all went so wrong. Maybe you’ve encountered struggle after struggle and you just can’t see where God is, in your pain. Confusion is an inevitable part of life, and although we can’t avoid it, we can go to scripture to read all about others who were confused, too. By studying their lives and reading their words, we can find our own roadmap for navigating confusion. Watch this message!

At Community, we're thrilled to welcome Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil, an author, professor, speaker, and pastor, and a leader in the church’s racial reconciliation efforts. During this talk, she covers why racial reconciliation is biblical, necessary, and urgent, and how we can become part of the movement - as churches and individuals. She challenges us to move beyond temporary, surface-level attempts at racial reconciliation, and on to the real, sustaining, long-term changes. Watch this important message!

Do you feel like you're in control of your money, or is your money in control of you? According to a recent study, 90% of Americans say money has an effect on their stress levels, and almost 2/3 of Americans feel like their financial difficulties are piling up so high that they can’t overcome them! One thing is for certain: most of us have a broken relationship with money. Money in and of itself isn’t bad, but when we misuse it, serve it, and let it run our lives, we need help. If you’re stuck, there’s a better way. Rather than holding onto our money for dear life (which doesn’t seem to work too well for us!), let’s learn to serve God instead of serving our money. Amazing things will happen in our lives. Watch this message!

Can money make you happy? It’s so tempting to think more money will make you happier: you could live in a nicer home, go on that vacation you’ve been thinking about, and pay off debt. Who wouldn’t be happier? And certainly, there’s something to be said for being able to meet your basic financial needs. Financial security is a good goal, and it’s important for our well-being. But at a certain income level, money no longer makes us happier… and in fact, it can even make us miserable! But at Community, we believe money actually can make you happy, if you view it as God’s money and yourself simply as the steward of it. Then, you can share in God’s joy of making sure all his children have their needs met. Sounds great, right? Watch this message!
