Gail Patin, CEO of Hubbard House came by the show to talk about Serving Duval and Baker Counties, Hubbard House, a full-service certified domestic violence center. She invited the community to the 10th Annual Stand Up & Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on March 30th.

Beat The Runway Music and Fashion Show will showcase fashion from independent designers and local boutiques. Models of all shapes, sizes and nationalities will reflect the REAL WORLD of fashion.

Mayor Lenny Curry came by the show to talk about his endeavors the last 4 years, his vision for One City One Jacksonville, and staying steadfast on fighting the crime in the city. He also encourages the city to get out and exercise their right to vote.

Chuck Campbell from Chick Fil A – River City Place and Sean Hassan from Armada FC came by the show to talk about the 8th Annual Chicken Biscuit Run. The Chicken Biscuit Run is a community event geared to get people connected, be health and assist groups with fundraising. This year they have a beneficiary Armada FC which will partner with the Bob Hayes Complex to bring soccer to the Northside area.

Rodericka came by the show with Gene Dot Com to talk about the upcoming Foundation for Fortitude event which helps young woman succeed and give them financial scholarship aid, support of mentors, advice, and a successful community network of professionals willing to provide insight and opportunity, to make a difference for her, her family, her community, and the world. This Year they are celebrating the Life and Legacy of the founder Sherry H. Blue.

Councilwoman Ju’coby Pittman came by the show to talk about her upcoming run for City Council. We talked about her mission statement for District 8 in Jacksonville Florida. Ju’Coby talk about the legacy of The Clara White Mission founded in 1904 and her numerous endeavors in the community, which makes are the right candidate for City Council District 8!

Kicking of Women History Month 88 Blessings, founder Erica Wilson – mother of Former Jacksonville Jaguars and current WR with the @DallasCowboys, Allen Hurns came by the show to talk about their foundation that offers advice, resources and a support system to single parents. The goals are to build a community that offers advice, resources, and a support system to re-focus their energy, solve their financial problems, or grow a business to provide for their families.
Erica is also evolving as an author, she has her 1st Book, It had to happen! She persevered and found strength through her struggles as a single mother, and now shares her story and offers her support to others in need through 88 Blessings!

Ricky Rowell from the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office and Co Director of NEF Camp Cadet and Ray Beltz from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office came by community View Point to talk about The purpose of Northeast Florida Camp Cadet, Inc., and providing today's youth with the tools necessary to overcome challenges, instill strict discipline and bestow confidence and leadership abilities. Camp Cadet is a tuition free, one week event, staffed by local police and sheriff's departments from Clay, Duval, Bradford and Nassau counties. The police officers and deputies of these counties serve as counselors and instructors. The program is designed to give boys and girls, ages 12 through 15, a better understanding of law enforcement activities while living in an atmosphere similar to a police training academy. It is held at Northfork Leadership Center in Middleburg Florida. Heavy emphasis is placed on leadership by improving self-discipline, building self-esteem and confidence through teamwork and making new friends.

Nate Scott came by the show to speak about being a former enlisted soldier, Desert Storm veteran, West Point graduate, and former Infantry Officer/Ranger. He talked about walking the perimeter at 19 during Desert Storm and saying “Lord if you allow me to make it back, I’ll never waste a day of my life.” He also shared how that experience led him to writing “Life Is Rich: How To Create Lasting Wealth”, a principle-centered, Biblically based leadership program that addresses the problem of 66% of baby boomers earn less than $30,000 in retirement.
