The Illinois Symphony Orchestra (ISO) spoke with Community Voices about the symphony's upcoming season. Dr. Yona Stamatis, the Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology at the University of Illinois Springfield, sat down with ISO Executive Director Trevor Orthmann and Music Director Ken Lam to talk about the season, the other programs the symphony offers and how soloists are selected for performances.

Ben Banach and Hannah Tomlin are the couple behind Moon Girl Farm. Banach is a former standup comedian and Tomlin holds a doctorate in educational policy studies. Illinois Presbyterian Home Communities is housed in what once was the Palmer Sanitarian for Tuberculosis, built in the early 1900s. In the 1950s the location was converted into a home for seniors. Amy Rasing is the Director of Development for Illinois Presbyterian Home Communities. She spoke with Community Voices about the history of the facility, as well as the services offered to seniors.
