- [ ] Comparison is the thief of joy and the stretcher of truth.

- [ ] Comparison keeps the focus on ourselves and we either feel prideful by thinking of ourselves as better than another, or we believe God is holding something out from us.

- [ ] “The truth is God has given me everything I need for the plans he has set before me.”

- [ ] One of the fastest ways of discouraging yourself and getting trapped by the sin of envy is when you compare yourself to others.

- [ ] God has a specific plan for you and you won’t accomplish that plan by looking at others. 

- [ ] Hard question - are you entitled? You cannot be grateful for what you feel entitled to. Do we praise God IN our circumstances as opposed to BECAUSE OF our circumstances?
