What does it look like to move beyond passive faith into active evangelism and share the gospel with those around us?
At its heart is the story from Mark 5 of a demon-possessed man who encountered Jesus and experienced complete transformation. Rather than allowing him to become a follower on the road, Jesus gave him a specific mission: stay in your community where everyone knows your past and tell them what I did for you. This becomes our model for evangelism—we don't need theological degrees or perfect knowledge, we simply need to be witnesses to what Christ has done in our lives.
Sharing the gospel sharing takes three practical steps: connect with people through intentional love and kindness, share your personal story of transformation, and present the good news. What makes this approach so compelling is its accessibility. The truth here is that the gospel has its own power—we can stumble through our presentation, forget parts, or feel inadequate, yet God's Spirit works through our availability.
When we realize that every believer today exists because someone cared enough to share the gospel with them, it becomes clear that we have both a privilege and responsibility to continue that chain of grace.
What would change about the way you see your story if your greatest mess became a powerful message for someone else? In this week's message, Pastor Kenny Grant takes us through 1 Peter 3:15 and helps us realize that every single believer has a testimony the world desperately needs to hear. Much like the demon-possession man was transformed by an encounter with Christ in Mark 5, your story of redemption is irreplaceable. Sharing with vulnerability from his own story as a troubled 17-year-old Marine to a grounded man of God, Pastor Kenny reveals that no story is too broken for God. Friends, your story matters, and someone is waiting to hear it.
What if the people you love most are in a desperate situation—and you're part of God's plan to reach them? Pastor John Mark unpacks Luke 15's powerful parables, revealing a God who hikes up his robes and *runs* toward the lost—not a distant judge, but a compassionate Father. Even Penn Jillette, a famous atheist, admitted that someone who truly believes in eternal life and stays silent must not really care. As your church begins this evangelism series, you don't need all the answers—just a willing heart.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been talking about finances and how a biblical perspective shapes our approach for the better. We’ve explored how true happiness is not found in the pursuit of "more," but in the intentional management of what God has provided as we shift toward radical generosity. We’ve also touched on how tithing demonstrates unwavering trust, moving our relationship with God from words to concrete action. This week, we end our series by showing that contentment is not a commodity to be acquired but a harvest reaped through intentional stewardship.
Pastor Ken reminds us that happiness isn’t something we get, but the result of how we live. Wanting more money doesn’t lead to satisfaction; it’s about how we manage what we have. Jesus warned we can’t serve both God and our desires. Letting desire rule leads to discontent and debt. For lasting peace, we should track our resources, plan ahead, save, eliminate debt, and give generously. Generosity reflects God’s character, is worship, and brings blessing.
What if the safest financial decision you could make is actually the riskiest one? Pastor Ken reveals how a baseball runner's conservative play cost the World Series, illustrating that "playing it safe is the riskiest decision you can make." Through Malachi 3:8-10, he challenges the gap between trusting God with our hearts while withholding our wallets. Ken also shares Jeff's story—a non-Christian who tithed as an experiment and found it led him straight to Jesus. Ready to test God's promise to "open the floodgates of heaven"? Join the 90-day tithing challenge and discover why 90% with God goes further than 100% on your own!
What if God whispers that your deepest money stress isn't really about money at all? When a desperate man interrupted Jesus to demand inheritance help, Christ revealed that greed—whether from fear or appetite—blocks true contentment that only flows from trusting our Father-Provider. Pastor Marcus unpacks Jesus' teaching which is also supported by research showing wealth beyond basic needs doesn't increase happiness, while materialism actively decreases it, echoing Jesus' timeless wisdom that "life isn't measured by what you own." Discover a perspective shift on how God's river of blessing flows to you and through you?
What if the secret to becoming the person you’ve always wanted to be isn’t found in self-help books or sheer willpower, but in something as simple as slowing down? Pastor Marcus concluded our transformative Exodus journey by pointing to one of the most powerful moments in Moses’ story—when his face literally glowed after being in the presence of God. That same transformation is available to us today through the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. The God who took Moses from a reluctant exile hiding in the wilderness and shaped him into a bold leader willing to say, “Take me, not them,” is still transforming ordinary people through His presence. The challenge is that we live in a microwave culture that wants instant results, while God often works through what Pastor Marcus called “crockpot Christianity.” Real spiritual growth happens slowly, over time, as we linger with Him in prayer, Scripture, worship, and intentional moments in His presence. When that kind of transformation takes place, people notice. They aren’t drawn to hurried, microwaved souls; they’re captivated by lives that glow with the presence and glory of God. The same God who transformed Moses is ready to do the same work in you—if you’re willing to slow down long enough to let Him work.
What if the chains you've worked so hard to escape are still wrapped around your heart? The Israelites discovered their greatest enemy wasn't Pharaoh, but the idol-making factory within—turning God's gifts into false gods when fear struck. Pastor Jason reveals how we become like what we worship, sharing his own struggle with making work an idol that demanded sacrifice of family time. Discover how naming your hidden idols, asking forgiveness, and replacing them with devotion to Jesus leads to the true freedom your soul craves.
What if the rules you rebel against were actually designed for your flourishing? Pastor Marcus reveals how God gave the Ten Commandments only after rescuing Israel from slavery—grace came first, then guidelines. These aren't arbitrary restrictions but reflections of God's character, designed to help us thrive individually and as a society. Like a mirror exposing our flaws, the commandments reveal our need for grace while pointing us toward the life we were created for. Ready to discover how God's "rules" are actually invitations to freedom?
What if someone is interceding for you right now at the throne of God? Pastor Marcus reveals how the Old Testament high priest carried the names of God's people on his shoulders and heart—a beautiful shadow pointing to Jesus, our ultimate High Priest who bears your name before the Father this very moment. Through Aaron's elaborate priestly garments and the dramatic confrontation between Caiaphas and Jesus, discover how Christ perfectly fulfills every priestly role, offering himself as both sacrifice and mediator. Ready to approach God's throne with bold confidence, knowing Jesus intercedes for you? Lean in and discuss this transformative message about your precious identity in Christ's heart!
