Cone's Cave

I’m back with Season 13 Episode #1! Here we go with a new season of Cone’s Cave and I have a great way to start it. A heavy way to start Season 13, just the way I like it! I have fellow bassist Troy Sanders of Mastodon on my show this week! Mastodon just released a brand new album “Marrow Deep” in Aug so we touch on that as well as whole wack of stuff concerning Mastodon past and present. This interview goes deep and we get into it all! Make sure you tune in!

This is the season finale of Season 12 and we end it with a really fun one! I have Joel O’Keeffe who is the front man, lead singer and guitar player for Australian Hard Rock Band Airbourne! This is one of the most high energy interviews I’ve done on this show, things are moving fast and stories are coming quick and are very entertaining…. Picture this interview like a live show, there’s a lot of highs and a few segways but the whole time you’re smiling! Don’t miss this one its really good, I had a great time talking to Joel and lets be honest, the Australian's have the greatest accents ever so that doesn’t hurt either….

This week I’m changing it up a little bit. I had the pleasure of talking to the very funny Canadian comedian Keith Pedro and he is on my show this week! I’ve seen his stand up show before and I knew I had to have him on my show…… He agreed so here we are! We talk about everything to do with comedy and comedians and this is a very in depth conversation. If you like to laugh and you like comedy which I hope is at least 99% of people then this episode is definitely for you!

This week I’m happy to have my old pal and fellow bassist Randy Bradbury from Pennywise on the show!!! He’s the 3rd member of Pennywise I’ve had on my show now and why stop there I’ll probably get Byron the 4th at some point too. Its cool for me to talk to Randy about his early days in punk and bass playing and getting into Pennywise etc. We also touch on his sobriety, the Pennywise song Bro Hymn, his newest music venture 84 Days and a whole lot more. We go pretty deep into a lot in this episode so I hope its as cool for you to hear as it was for me to put this together. 90’s Skate Punk fans….. you know what to do!

This week is a good week cause I have a fellow Canadian on my show. Not only that, him and his band grew up 15-20 mins away from where us in Sum 41 grew up. My guest this week is the lead singer and front man of the Whitby, Ontario band Protest The Hero! With their newest album (first album in 6 years) just out a few days ago called “Within” there is a lot to catch up on with Rody and we dive deep into the early beginnings of Protest The Hero all the way up until this brand new album. Some things in this conversation may surprise you…… You’ll have to listen in to hear all about it!

Not a lot of people in punk have the kind of music resume this week’s guest has. This week my guest is Brian Baker of Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Fake Names and the list goes on! How is that for influential punk bands! Brian and I dive into all those bands and he walks me through his time in Punk and Hardcore from his early beginnings as a teenager in Minor Threat right up until now still touring in Bad Religion and Fake Names! I don’t think it needs to said but I will….. if you love punk and hardcore this is definitely an episode you won’t wanna miss

I’m back with Season 12 of Cone’s Cave and I couldn’t ask for a better 1st guest than the one and only, the very funny Tom Green! We all know Tom from his MTV days with his Tom Green Show and now he’s back in Canada living on a farm in rural Ontario and has a brand new show out called The Tom Green Farm! We talk about that including some of the great guests he has on plus we talk about his beginnings into film and TV back in Ottawa and whole lot more. This is a very interesting conversation with a guy who’s done a ton in his career and still going strong! This is a great way to start Season 12 of Cone’s Cave and I really recommend you tune for this one!
