This Friday, watch as one Pennsylvania filmmaker tells the story of grief, loss, becoming an adult, and the relationships that either build you up or tear you apart.

The film “Potential Inertia” will be shown as part of NAFCo’s monthly film screening, this Friday at 7:30 at the Reitz Theater in DuBois. It tells the story of Declan Holmes, who is having a hard time as he graduates college, only to experience a loss like he has never felt before.

The film was written, directed, and produced by Oil City filmmaker Matt Croyle and his film company One Fish Media.

The man who guided the Bucs through the glory days of the early '90s, Jim Leyland, will be the grand marshal of the DuBois Community Days Fireman’s Parade this Saturday, starting at 5.

But before that, Leyland will also be sharing stories, giving advice, and answering questions at the American Legion State in the DuBois City Park, starting around noon on Saturday.

Patients with behavioral health needs are critically underserved in Northwestern/Central Pennsylvania and beyond. To address this need in the region, the expansion of the current facility at Penn Highlands DuBois East will create a 126-bed campus providing a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services. The campus will feature a new walk-in urgent care center specific to behavioral health issues, outpatient behavioral health services, a Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit, Adult Behavioral Health units and a new dual diagnosis unit for patients who need behavioral health services as well as drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation – a critically-needed service for our region.
