Connect the Dots with Aria

The Gemini Full Moon is on December 15th. 2024. It’s a truly delightful invitation we receive from the Universe to bring our higher and lower minds into coherence, through the transformational practice of Allowance.

Separating our spiritual self, activities and perspectives from those are not, requires that build walls of separation in our minds. The Mystic within us delights in what is temporarily perceived as fragmented and loves it back into Oneness.

There is an air of lightness and joy during this lunation. Can you feel it, somewhere in your being?

In exploring Mysticism, we eventually have to face Great Mysteries, and the roots of our deep-seated, often ancient beliefs and patterns that lie there. One such root I had to face is the abandonment of a Higher Power that I felt. In this video I share the emotional journey of my experience with this, the process of acceptance and Alchemy, and bridging consciousness between problem/ lower self and solution/ Higher Self.

I did a LIVE podcast on the Full Moon in Taurus which I’m thrilled to share here, because it gives a practical lived experience of the concepts we’ve been exploring here in Connect the Dots. I open with my general love of alchemy and how I use it to navigate emotional reality in the moment. The emotive doorway I talk about is frustration, annoyance and irritation, which is very prevalent these days. I walk through the alchemical sequence of what it was like to come to my inner truth, which though uncomfortable, was a place of power-within, and the energy it liberated. The how the and steps are included!

This brings our exploration of power, truth and liberation through Scorpio season to a close, as we now prepare for Sagittarius season!

I re-started online dating some weeks ago. It is often not a place that feels particularly powerful. For me, my past with dating held the template where power lay solely with my needs and wants. After a while, it evolved and started to lie with other people (whether they wanted it or not). I built up compensation mechanisms for that lack of self-power in bizarre ways.When I think about an upcoming date now, it is crystal clear to me where my power lies—outside me or within. This has helped me navigate my return to presence where my, and in fact all our incredible and infinite power truly lies.

This weekend, we are massively helped by the Full Moon in Taurus, as we come to stand in our resourcefulness and resilience to balance us out. Scorpio season (when the Sun is in Scorpio) continues for another week, but for now, let’s enjoy the place where we stand today, and feel into everything we truly have.

I’ve been dating for the last few months and have felt disinterest, short-lived excitement and frustrations. This led me to face some inner truths, especially around wounding and projecting on others.

This is what I learned: when the locus of our power stems from our need, our lack and unmet desire, it has complete power over us. When we project this on others, they often fail to meet our expectations and/or they exercise power over us (which we gave them). Everyone involved feels the weight, falseness and general dissonance of this.

In this episode, I share my revelation, and what was involved in this learning of power-within, and the lightness of liberating both myself and others! Huzzah!

November 1st is Th Day of the Dead and Samhain.

Across cultures there are thousands of vibrant festivals, water or fire rituals and, somber prayer practices enacted this time of year to prepare us for the darker half of the year (i.e. shorter days, harvest’s end, winter’s coming). There is wisdom in this preparation, and so I'll share my little practices through the week leading up to November 1st.

This video starts with a small honouring to our Ancestors, the ones who have walked before us. I share this because when we accept where we have come from, we get to know who we are and can make more empowered choices on where we want to go.

We then move into the power and transformation animal archetypes to help us figure out where we are sourcing our power from, and how it moves through us in different life scenarios, at these different (not bad) levels of consciousness.

As Libra season gives way to Scorpio, we meet the trinity of Truth, Power and Transformation with this archetype.

In this video, we look at the power-over dynamic which we see almost everywhere in our world, that we have inherited, and that is probably still alive for each of us. I share some ways we can recognize when we are reacting or acting from this place, and how to leverage the trinity of Truth, Power and Transformation to shift the paradigm to the Power-Within dynamic.

It’s frustrating.

It’s wild and uncomfortable.

It begets a step into Sovereignty.

In this episode of Connect the Dots, we explore one of the paths of initiation for the Libra archetype through the Ancient Greek myth of Tiresias—a blind prophet who was known across the realms as a true diplomat and peace-maker. Our story looks at how he came to be this way, through the blending of oppositional forces.

We then move into what comes after ‘merging’, which is individuation. We cannot stay merged in a static format. We dance the dance of balance, separating after coming together, and coming together after separating. This is the reminder of the Aries Full Moon, and we are helped by the “broom star” Atlas—the comet, with myths of its own helping us cast some light upon the darker edges of our unconscious.
