Explanation of the Passover feast

New beginnings were dependent on the necessity of faith in God’s provision. Through faith God delivered them so that they may in turn live as God’s people.

In the angel of the Lord we see our need for a mediator, for God to be more fully revealed, and the one through Whom God’s promises are fulfilled.

At the heart of how to be the people of God is faith in the God who delivers.

We see grace through Jesus in forgiveness despite how egregiously they had wronged him, as well as in his continued provision.

God gives us a sneak peek revealing our needs for faith in his provision of the lamb.

The difficulty in trusting God is not after the promise has been fulfilled, but while still in the journey of the everyday.

Denial of judgement doesn’t change the reality of judgement, but God has made provision in Jesus.

Before we can talk about the promise of Jesus’s coming let’s examine where the need for Him to do so began.

As we respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ, we become a new creation, a priesthood of believers, being progressively transformed into His image so that we may one day reign with Him.
