Jacob takes an objective look at what path forward is the best fit for a senior and their family, whether that's aging in place with some modifications, or moving into a senior living community, and he does this all free to those families that need the guidance. He puts a lot of time and research into what motivates these people to move toward and away from senior living, so we get to pick his brain about what it can offer and what it's missing. She shares her perspective of not just how we've seen a boom in demand for technology in senior living, but what that looks like across different levels of care and the simplification that they've needed as staffing shortages persist. As this millennial and baby boomer talk tech, we also address how these generations are going to be pivotal to how tech is received.

Jessica Daily, the National Director of Resident Programs at Senior Lifestyle Corporation, has been working with other members on her team to take an honest look at what their communities are doing to be more inclusive. What started as a simple question among staff, has turned into an amazing journey of discovery for both the staff, and the residents alike.

Molly Davis Nedley, National Director, Entertainment & Programming for Spectrum Retirement has broadened her communities' and residents' reach into the world through progressive programs and becoming a part of a collective energy outside of the community. Their efforts have garnered them a following of 92,000 followers in a few months on TikTok and a greater initiative inside some communities to start what they call an "Adventurer's Club". This is a great illustration of challenging the aging philosophy can do for individuals and the community as a whole.

If you take one thing away from this, it's that spending time and resources on the happiness of your current residents and staff it can still pay dividends for your bottom line. Happier residents stay longer and tell their friends about it, and happier staff means that they give a better experience too.
