Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life

Hi, I'm Connor with Honor - message me here!

A penny doubled every day for a month is $5,368,709, and almost all of it lands in the last few days. That is the curve AI is on, and this episode runs it through the three lanes you live in.

The Machine: SoftBank's Masayoshi Son says one billion AI agents at 27 cents a month. Nvidia's Jensen Huang says 100 agents for every employee. The same week Musk declared the Singularity, Amodei warned Congress, and Altman asked for global rules. Physicist Alexander Wissner-Gross explains why they are all fighting over the leash: intelligence, by definition, keeps its options open.

The Body: Medicare started covering the big weight loss drugs July 1st at $50 a month. The heart benefits are real. So are the three numbers not on the label: 40 percent of the loss can be muscle, daily steps drop on the drug, and two thirds of the weight comes back when people quit. I dropped 135 pounds without a shot. The shot silences appetite. It does not touch the ritual.

The House: Santa Clarita, last 7 days: 48 closed, 157 came off the market with no buyer. Winners got 100 percent of ask in 30 days. Median seller credit hiding inside those wins: $21,562. Pricing is a one-time positioning decision, and I explain the Fair Fixed Fee standard I built so my advice never scales against your net.

This Loom discusses the risks, rollout, and societal impact of large language models and next-generation AI like Anthropic’s rumored “Mythos” and “Fable” releases. The speaker argues AI adoption is split between all-in users and those less affected, while both utopian and apocalyptic viewpoints persist. They suggest progress could accelerate via exponential effects, including robotics and synthetic data, and warn that access may be limited to top institutions, creating widening inequality. They reference the July 1, 2026 timing, mention prior holdbacks of “too dangerous” models, and note government review before releases. The message ends with a call to stay informed and be cautious about privacy and misinformation.

This Loom discusses whether to buy a house right now, emphasizing that the decision should not be based solely on mortgage interest rates. It explains that while rates matter and refinancing may help if rates drop enough, costs and timing can make refinancing not worthwhile, and it should be truly free if offered. The speaker also ties mortgage rates to 10-year bonds rather than the Fed funds rate, noting recent upward trends due to war, gas prices, and inflation. Finally, it cautions that using AI tools can misprice repair requests, illustrated by a ChatGPT suggestion of $12,000 for a tiny leak that the seller ultimately fixed for under $100 with no mold.

Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence is back on the Daily Download, and today is about a line getting drawn right down the middle of the most powerful technology ever built. For two and a half weeks the strongest AI systems on the planet were gated behind a government checkpoint. This week the gate cracked open again, but only for a small approved circle. Compute used to be the bottleneck. Now the bottleneck is permission.

Watch the video version: https://youtu.be/IovMw84cZUM

In this episode of Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence we get into the half-billion-dollar push to retrain American workers, the new real-time AI that sees and hears and answers live, the power bills and data centers landing in regular neighborhoods, and the AI that quietly rebuilt the Big Mac. The thread through all of it: this technology was meant to be a ladder anybody can climb, not a velvet rope for the wealthy.

Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence exists so regular people are not the last ones to find out what's happening to them. All in the hands of many, not hoarded by the few.

Hi, I'm Connor with Honor - message me here!

The most powerful AI models get released, hyped as world-changing, then pulled back "for safety" before regular people can use them, while the Forbes-list crowd keeps access. Real danger, or the best marketing campaign in tech?

It's the end of June 2026. Connor breaks down what's actually happening: Anthropic's Claude, the wildly popular Mythos model locked away as "too dangerous," and Fable 5, the weaker public release that got snatched back in about three days. The pattern is hard to miss.

But here's the question underneath it. If the models they SHOW us are this strong, what's running behind the curtain? These are private companies racing toward recursive self-improvement, systems writing their own code and teaching themselves to get smarter.

Connor isn't a billionaire and he isn't a doomer. He's a working real estate agent who builds with AI every day. He digs into where humans actually get replaced (radiology, diagnosis, surgery, driving, and the insurance math that forces it), why "artificial intelligence" is a terrible name for what this really is, and the genie warning at the center of all of it: be careful what you wish for, because this one takes you literally.

Is "too dangerous to release" real protection, or the oldest sales trick there is?

Privacy is over, and the feed already targets you before you have even asked the question. That same machine is the most powerful customer-finding tool ever built. In this one I show local business owners, agents, HVAC, plumbing, and electricians how to use it strategically instead of being used by it, and none of it costs money.

We cover strategic versus tactical, why taking a real stance beats playing it safe, fixing your custom Facebook URL, getting into the big local groups on Facebook and Instagram, putting it all on a calendar, and setting up a Google Business Profile you feed with factual updates every other day (not self-promotion, because the bots scrub that).

Hi, I'm Connor with Honor - message me here!

A billionaire calls AI "the most important economic leveler of our lifetime." A normal working guy with no health insurance reads his actual words and asks the question they keep ducking: will AI do your job, or just let people still need the work while a human paycheck disappears?

In this episode I read venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya's real quotes from his Axios interview, then take them apart fairly: the plumber trap, the "give me historical proof" demand, the tasks-multiply argument, Fei-Fei Li's "augment, not replace," the economists (Acemoglu, Susskind, Bengio) who say this time is different, and Nick Bostrom's paperclip maximizer. I am not a doomer and not on an island. The real answer is that nobody knows, including the people getting rich on it.

Hi, I'm Connor with Honor - message me here!

For the first time, somebody hit the brakes on the smartest machine ever built. Not because it broke. Because it works too well.

The government quietly asked the biggest AI lab in the country to slow down the release of its newest model. Stagger it. Spread it out. Don't drop the whole thing on the world at once. And the lab said yes.

This episode unpacks the one move that explains every AI headline this week. Slowing the release does not slow the building. Those are two different engines. One is how fast they hand the keys to us. The other is how fast they build the next car in the garage. The public line gets throttled. The private line behind locked doors keeps climbing. The gap is growing on purpose.

We take it straight to your life. Laptop and tablet prices jumping $200 or more because AI data centers are hoarding memory chips. The escape hatch of cheaper, radically more efficient AI. A machine now writing 99.8% of its own code. AI-designed drugs moving real money. A humanoid robot for under $5,000. The defense rulebook quietly rewritten. And a 2,000-year-old scroll, finally read, with a message about character that outlasted everything.

Power should not belong only to the people in the glass towers. It belongs to the plumber, the nurse, the veteran, the single mom at midnight. This is AI With Honor.

Full breakdown: https://connorwithhonor.com/blog/ai-too-powerful-government-asked-lab-to-slow-down

I'm Connor with Honor. Take care of each other, and please be careful out there.
