Running is definitely a mental sport, and we know that once we let those negative thoughts in, they can quickly send us backwards as our thoughts spiral out of control.
We have all been there.
That moment in a race when you start to believe the “I cant do this” thoughts and the desire to slow down or heaven forbid, stop.
Before you know it, you are questioning why you put yourself through this. Then you go even further and start to question your sanity; “why would anyone PAY to do this?”.
Today we share some of our tough race experiences and discuss how to overcome those negative thoughts.
If you have a tactic that you find especially helpful, share it with us in the Instagram comments. Maybe your suggestion will be what really helps another runner!
